I previously left a 3 star review but took it down after the owner humiliated me for trying to leave a fair and honest review to help others in their decision making. But as you may see, anytime someone doesn't give a 5 star review to Chez Angela the owner comes on and makes sure you know why you're "wrong". They say they need their customers to tell them how they can improve, but when we say the coffees not great, the service is subpar, the selection is not impressive, and the experience just didn't live up to all their social media hype, they explain why we're not giving them a fair or truthful review. If it's a common theme that people are disappointed in what their business promises, then maybe it's time they change where they source their products or reevaluate things. I tried to stay quiet and move on but to read that they literally told a disappointed customer that they did not in fact experience racism, well I'm sorry but that offends me. If they truly want a great business then maybe they shouldn't make an enemy of their customers with passive aggressive review replies. But if it's just reputation they're after, then carry on. The one star updated review is for their attitude.
