The food was delicious, we loved the decor in the restaurant and the shop was a lot of fun to look around too. So much to see! Oh, and the teacup truck was really neat and made for a fabulous photo op! I look forward to bringing more Daytrippers out in the future!”

We had incredible service and she got us promptly on our way with our meals packaged up to enjoy later! The beef ribs are generous and delicious, the steak bowl and chicken tender meals hit the spot and o my the lobster dip and lobster mac and cheese was fantastic! Well done Montana’s BBQ Brandon!”

“My daughter just wanted chips and salsa for a snack, and the adults were looking for a HH margarita. We searched a nearby Mexican restaurant and wound up here. It honestly looked closed because it was empty. But the sign said open and we walked in. I AM SO GLAD WE DID. The server came right out ordered us margaritas and I explained we couldn’t stay long, just wanted some chips and salsa and guac. He quickly gave us pick of the house for seating, brought out the chips and guac which were delicious. Brought us homemade hot sauce, and then brought out fresh homemade green and red tomato salsa…still warm from the kitchen. If you are looking for amazing homemade authentic Mexican cuisine, cute ambience, and amazing service, please check this place out. We are in town another 4 days and will likely go back for the enchiladas and full meal. Great place here in Brandon!”

“First time here, great vibe, great food, friendly staff. I had the LGBT+ sandwich with fries. Bacon was perfectly cooked, nice light fluffy focaccia bread, perfect flavours. Fries were thick cut and seasoned perfectly. I will be a return customer whenever I come to Brandon for sure!”

“The hospitality was the first thing we noticed. We needed a table for two and there was a young gentleman just having a coffee in a two person booth. He smilingly got up and offered a place.
We asked the waiter what he would suggest as we were not conversant with an Ethiopian menu.
Our dishes arrived with quite the flourish and each serving a huge injera with small rolls of injera as well.
One of our dishes has a really exotic spiced powder. Red pepper and anise all ground up with salt. This was sprinkled on our “dry dish”. Our waiter instructed us.
We finished with a beautiful “Ethiopian Coffee”. This was the smoothest coffee lightly spiced with allspice. It was delicious! Sweetened with a couple of the tiny spoonfuls of sugar. The coffee is served on a dainty pitcher and it is just addictive!!
It was a wonderful experience. We were the only non Ethiopian folks at table so the experience was as authentic as it could get. A really great experience. The price was completely reasonable.”

“So much for Mothers Day. We ordered drinks after sitting 5 minutes. they arrived okay. Ordered lunch for the 2 of us (keep in mind restaurant not busy)), my husband's steak arrived, without onions he ordered, and piled high with mushrooms not ordered. and he was almost finished eating when waitress came and commented "did I send my food back?" I said. it never arrived...she came back and said., mix up in kitchen, they will cook your fish and chips quickly. 10 minutes later, I asked for a coffee..so I had something. 10 minutes after that, my fish arrived..the breading was so hard, I used husbands steak knife to cut it, fish dried out. I left 90 percent , couldn't eat it My coffee arrived, over 10 minutes after ordered, cold and stale. Waitress did comp our meals, but we would have gladly paid and had nice time out. Never again will we enter their doors.”

“Lived in Brandon for 22 years and finally tried Tastees on recommendation of friends. Its a funky place that looks unchanged since the 1970s, which we quite liked and will go to again. Service was quick, helpful and friendly. Had 3 burgers with fries. The burgers were good on fresh soft buns and no seeds on top - hooray. Patty was cooked just right. Tomato and lettuce were fresh but only one slice of tomato - more would be better. All round a good burger that I would choose over the big chains every day. The fries though were over cooked and disappointing.”

“Joe B's catered my wedding dinner and it was perfect! Their staff did a fantastic job running the bar. We had both prepaid tickets for our guests and the rest was cash bar and it was run so smoothly. The food was delicious. The salads were amazing and we did a chicken dinner with veggies and mashed potatoes. Everything turned out fantastic. Huge shout out to Brett for being super friendly, accomodating, and helping us stay within our budget! 10/10 recommend”

“We stopped in Brandon to fill gas at Shell and thought we'd eat supper at Smitty's. We ordered the roast beef and veal off of the 55 plus menu, along with an appetizer to share. Our waitress Rachel was kind, funny, and attentive to our table. We mentioned amongst ourselves that we'd share the meals and she brought us extra plates and cutlery without us asking. The food came out within 10min and was hot, fresh, and cooked well. We would definitely eat there again!!”

“Haven't been in Brandon for a very long time. Was back recently and had to visit this DQ for their traditional March 1 annual opening. No matter how cold, they open March 1. The day I went it was in the -30's Celsius and windy. Enjoyed my ice cream as always. Used to go to this DQ all the time when I lived on Brandon. Nice to see that they are still there!”

“Overall great experience. Buffet had a variety of options such as: wonton soup, fried rice, noodles, chicken balls, deep fried shrimp, chicken wings, stirred veggie dishes and more. There were also some unique dishes such as: Thai soup, Szechuan chicken, steamed buns/rolls, bbq pork and scallops. Fresh fruit and veggies, as well as cake/ice cream for dessert. Everything was warm, empty trays were refilled quickly and the restaurant was sparkling clean. Will be back again as everything we tried was delicious. Congratulations on your opening!”

“I never give reviews but today I thought it was totally deserved! Stopped here for lunch and it’s drive through only - but they accepted walk up orders in their drive through! As a trucker with limited options on a regular basis never mind with Covid rules in place limiting things more - I greatly appreciated that as typically no other drive throughs I’ve been to in many different cities have this option! Kudos to you guys!”

The young woman that served us was very polite. The food was prepared quickly and was all very tasty. When not serving customers, the same girl that served us was washing windows and surfaces.
Even when a ride customer came in, she maintained her pleasant demeanor.”
