“Not sure I can capture how I feel about Sabor Latino in one review. But I’ll try. In December last year, I contracted catering from here for a work function to feed 600 people. Every single step of the way the management at Sabor Latino remained highly adaptable, enthusiastic and committed to finding solutions that fit my event. The food provided, as corroborated by most other reviews on this place, was second to none. The staff worked extremely hard to make this work for us and they pulled it off with flying colours. Big kudos to you all.I’ve only actually eaten in-store once, needless to say it was awesome.The food: awesome. Fresh, felt made to order, and flavourful. I don’t know much about Latin-American food but the food they presented to me was absolutely killer.The service: again, second to none. The staff were extremely friendly and authentic people. On top of that, it was fast. I usually hate tipping cause it feels like it’s almost a given now.. not really something people earn. But I couldn’t tip high enough with these people. They earn every cent.The atmosphere: at the end of the day the hill I die on is cleanliness. Not at all a concern or issue eating here. The restaurant was very clean, it was appropriately decorated inside and there was more than adequate space for everyone to not feel like herded cattle.Overall: I can’t say enough good things about Sabor Latino. This place rocks and is, in my mind, the best restaurant in Brandon depending on what you’re looking for. I would 1000% recommend eating here if you haven’t already.The attached photo is of the platter that the restaurant provided for 600 people in the span of 3 hours.”

It’s a place where you can come and catch up with friends while sitting in a restaurant that has so much character it’s hard to put into words. It’s definitely a place you want to come and enjoy rather than grab a quick meal. Although you can do both. The deserts are out of this world, and I don’t really have a sweet tooth, but it’s hard to resist the homemade pies and other sweet treats. It’s one of my four favorite restaurants in the city and definitely when I recommend to people visiting.”

“I went to this spot for the first time with a friend who was introducing me to pure and organic products. The store was cozy and clean, and we received excellent customer service. The lady working there was nice and allowed us to sample a few of the products. I ended up spending over $100 that day mostly because of the service. One of the things I picked up was the shaving butter, and can I tell you, I have NEVER used anything like it. I personally believe it's better than any soap I've ever used (and I've used many different brands). I would definitely recommend this place to others. Even if you just want to go and hang out with a small group of friends in their lounge area and drink a hot/cold beverage from their drink menu (I recommend the hot chocolate). It's a great place.”
“Going to be completely honest. I’ve tried multiple places that claim to be “authentic Mexican food” and they did not deserve that title what so ever . And being from California I have really high standards . I was visiting my girlfriend in Brandon and she recommended me this place so I went and was expecting another “Minot catastrophe” considering I currently live in Minot ND and all the Mexican restaurants are just not good at all. But I was simply blown away and proven wrong. This establishment superseded my expectations. I ordered the birria tacos with a side of rice and churros to finish it off and when I tell you I felt like I was in California I really do mean it. the tacos were questionably good for a Canadian location. Not to mention the rice was very soft and moist not dry, exactly how rice should be . The birria tacos were phenomenal I would even say better than some California locations without a doubt . The churros were a surprise as well and presentation was on point . Only feedback I have is maybe a little more portion volume with the rice but other than that this place was very good . Any time I visit Brandon Canada I will be spending my money here for a fact . Keep up the good work . Compliments to the chef but the owner as well for having a vision and an establishment that makes me proud for my raza. I’ll be back soon .”

Apparently, it's coming soon.I ordered what I understood to be a combination plate. It turned out to be a huge 12-inch diameter Ethiopian injera bread, warm, soft and delicious just like it's supposed to be, plus a large bowl of what I will call stew/soup with beef, carrots, beans, onions and sweet green peppers and Ethiopian butter.I ordered the spicy option, which had a bit of a kick but not too spicy. The dish was very tasty, though I did find the beef, which was cut into little cubes, rather tough. He also gave me a couple of pieces of biscuits to soak up the liquid. The injera bread was warm and tasty. The atmosphere was very Ethiopian with pictures and decorations on the wall, giving it a quaint and very pleasant ambuence. I found the price of almost $20 to be a bit on the high side for a bowl of stew and the bread. But all together a very fine experience. I like trying food from different countries, and the manager and his mother created a fine Ethiopian atmosphere. I'll be back in the future for another try when they have a real buffet.”

However, my family and I decided to try again since learning they were under new management... what a difference! Great food, fantastic friendly service. So glad they finally fixed that issue and glad to be back!”

“No complain Compare some asian restaurants with time limitate sitting. The Korean Doenja soup And teriyaki short ribs are good. Recommend you the Summer fruit and volcano rolls. Their stir fry is the best and it showed on the menu" add $3 to order the additional menu" which is including special menus which I feel it's fair. I don't normally go at supper time as I knew when its getting Busy the food quality won't be the best I expect. So If you expecting high food quality I would recommend you go 1 hour earlier Or later than meals hour.”

“All I want to say is that I appreciate whoever's decision it was to start toasting and warming up the jalapeno savoury pastries. I also want to say that I appreciate the person who came up with the orange ginger quencher I had with them. The pastries were delicious warmed up and had a nice kick to them, and the quencher was very refreshing and delicious. Thanks for packing my order up with such care. The pastries arrived nice and warm and weren't squished, and the drink had just the right amount of ice. I'd show photos, but I ate and drank everything very fast! Well done!”

“Haven't been in Brandon for a very long time. Was back recently and had to visit this DQ for their traditional March 1 annual opening. No matter how cold, they open March 1. The day I went it was in the -30's Celsius and windy. Enjoyed my ice cream as always. Used to go to this DQ all the time when I lived on Brandon. Nice to see that they are still there!”

“I accidentally discovered this amazing little place a few years ago when a coworker and I were heading back to Winnipeg from a job in Souris. We arrived to where we thought we ordered from only to find out that he had accidentally called and ordered from the wrong place so we went on an adventure to find where our mystery pizza had ended up and came across this little hole in the wall with an extremely friendly and personable lady behind the counter who shared a laugh with us when we told her our story.That will forever be one of my favorite mix-ups because we never would have found this fantastic place. I still have not had a better pizza than I had from here and I always tell any friends that are heading that way to check out this place.You definitely will not be disappointed if you eat here!”

The person who took our order ensured the pastries were warmed up which we appreciated very much. The bathrooms were clean and the overall restaurant was clean and well lit. “After eating at Yorktons Taco Time on a few occasions we had to take a trip to Winnipeg on February 17/24. We stopped off at Taco Time in Brandon and all I have to say is WOW! Two ladies were working and they were wonderful! Yorkton could learn a thing or two about how to make a burrito from these ladies! 5 Stars right across the board! Service A++++ Will be stopping by again on future trips!”
“O&O is a wonderfully charming cafe with beautiful art and home decor. I hope that I can return to enjoy the lovely atmosphere, as well as purchase one of the many amazing pieces in their collection for my home. I stopped there because of a recommendation, and I was far from disappointed. The owner was very nice and turned on all of the light displays when I started walking around the back part of the building. I can't wait to return next time I'm in Brandon.”
“We would say 3.75. Staff was friendly and helpful. Decor is a little on the deco side. We were in the lounge. Cant say I am a fan of the purple lighting. We had the chicken nuggets and small Great Canadian pizza. Food was very good but some may find it slightly more expensive. You get what you pay for. We recommend giving it a try.”

“I want to thank the young man that delivered our pizzas who was extra prepared. Our dog was trying to get out of the house when the young man threw a dog treat into our house and exclaimed "NINJA DISTRACTION". It honestly made our night and made it a million times easier to get our order from him while our dog was in the room.”

“If you love coffee then Tim Horton's is the place to go and there donuts and other pastries are to die for. They have quite often have give me the wrong order and when I told them the next time I go in .They seem to just shrug and not really do anything about it.An apology goes long way.or a a free cup coffee.But since I don't drink coffee any more! I hope this helps the people that do .And I don't always find their staff to be overly pleasant.”

“We stopped on our way to Winnipeg for a coffee and a bathroom break. We had coffee and pastries and both came hot and fresh. The person who took our order ensured the pastries were warmed up which we appreciated very much. The bathrooms were clean and the overall restaurant was clean and well lit. “The lid on my large coffee was not put on properly, when the girl handed me my coffee the lid popped off and I wore over half of it. It left a red mark on my leg and a mess of my vehicle. This was a first for me, but I will be back. This happened Sat. June 10, 2023.”

As a trucker with limited options on a regular basis never mind with Covid rules in place limiting things more - I greatly appreciated that as typically no other drive throughs I’ve been to in many different cities have this option! “Going to be completely honest. I’ve tried multiple places that claim to be “authentic Mexican food” and they did not deserve that title what so ever . And being from California I have really high standards . I was visiting my girlfriend in Brandon and she recommended me this place so I went and was expecting another “Minot catastrophe” considering I currently live in Minot ND and all the Mexican restaurants are just not good at all. But I was simply blown away and proven wrong. This establishment superseded my expectations. I ordered the birria tacos with a side of rice and churros to finish it off and when I tell you I felt like I was in California I really do mean it. the tacos were questionably good for a Canadian location. Not to mention the rice was very soft and moist not dry, exactly how rice should be . The birria tacos were phenomenal I would even say better than some California locations without a doubt . The churros were a surprise as well and presentation was on point . Only feedback I have is maybe a little more portion volume with the rice but other than that this place was very good . Any time I visit Brandon Canada I will be spending my money here for a fact . Keep up the good work . Compliments to the chef but the owner as well for having a vision and an establishment that makes me proud for my raza. I’ll be back soon .”
