“Good food and plenty of it“

“We stopped in Brandon to fill gas at Shell and thought we'd eat supper at Smitty's. We ordered the roast beef and veal off of the 55 plus menu, along with an appetizer to share. Our waitress Rachel was kind, funny, and attentive to our table. We mentioned amongst ourselves that we'd share the meals and she brought us extra plates and cutlery without us asking. The food came out within 10min and was hot, fresh, and cooked well. We would definitely eat there again!!“

“We ordered from Eastside when they deliver to Shilo! My son always loves the salad he gets from ESM! My daughter can only eat one dish from you guys, and it’s always top notch!!“

“So much for Mothers Day. We ordered drinks after sitting 5 minutes. they arrived okay. Ordered lunch for the 2 of us (keep in mind restaurant not busy)), my husband's steak arrived, without onions he ordered, and piled high with mushrooms not ordered. and he was almost finished eating when waitress came and commented "did I send my food back?" I said. it never arrived...she came back and said., mix up in kitchen, they will cook your fish and chips quickly. 10 minutes later, I asked for a coffee..so I had something. 10 minutes after that, my fish arrived..the breading was so hard, I used husbands steak knife to cut it, fish dried out. I left 90 percent , couldn't eat it My coffee arrived, over 10 minutes after ordered, cold and stale. Waitress did comp our meals, but we would have gladly paid and had nice time out. Never again will we enter their doors.“

“We had dinner at Applebee’s tonight, and I just wanted to take a moment to recognize Matthew, who was serving us and also works in management. He did an absolutely incredible job.
I had recently had back surgery, and Matthew was so personable, attentive, patient, and genuinely kind. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of, and his positive attitude really made our experience that much better.
You can tell when someone genuinely cares about the people they’re serving, and Matthew was an absolute gem. He was professional while still being warm and personable, and he made us feel truly welcomed.
Applebee’s is lucky to have someone like him on their team. Great food, great atmosphere, and exceptional service. We’ll definitely be back!“

“The last time I went to this bar, a wonderful bartender who said she worked there for years was our server when she went for a much deserved break, the larger guy who looked like he was a manager took over, spent the majority of the time talking to another staff, ignored us to the best of his ability and look disgruntled when we ordered one shot each. Quite miffed abt that tbh.
But still four stars bc the woman was so exceptional.“
