I have booked this hotel many times in the past, strictly for the waterslide for the kids and have never been disappointed until this most recent trip.
I had booked 2 poolside rooms that were adjoining. Came to check in and was told they were sold out of adjoining rooms even though that is what I reserved.
The bathroom sink was clogged and I was truly disappointed to find that they had changed all bathtubs to showers. I have 2 young kids which made it difficult for me to bath them in the evening which I clearly wanted to after the grossly, cloudy pool they swam in.
Lastly, the hot tub was under maintenance, and I always look forward to a relaxing soak in the hot tub.
Overall, just extremely disappointed with the stay and I am very sad to say I won’t be booking again.

My rating would be much higher if they had not put me on the top floor whole replacing the roof, without telling us, until check in. The quiet hours at the hotel were until 7am but the roofers started before 6am. Not the relaxing vacation I had hoped for.

Better off staying at a homeless shelter, this used to be a decent hotel in Brandon, now it is one step above a youth hostel, and actually the youth hostel would be cleaner.. when it is working and clean, the pool has more people from the staff and non guess swimming in then the actual paying customers. Book elsewhere there are better hotels in Brandon.

While I did not stay in the hotel my experience with staff while in the VLT lounge is not positive. When redeeming cash tickets staff treat it as an inconvenience and on July 27th one of the machines froze and I could not cash out. The amount was small but no one had time to assist me saying they were too busy and I shouldn't be concerned over a small amount. I wonder if it would have been different if it was $100 or $200? What then? I highly recommend your restaurant/lounge staff be retrained in customer service and review VLT policy. I too have worked in a VLT lounge and I would never speak to anyone the way I was spoken to and I happily reimburse no matter what the issue.

We did not enjoy our stay - this establishment has went downhill! Used to be the place to go (had our wedding reception here when it was just bought and used to be Royal Oak) but we will not be going back. The air didn't work in the room - we were provided a beat up old box fan. The pool was cloudy...? Family of 5 & the pullout couch had a blanket that was super thin & falling apart. We were not happy with the customer service. For the price of the stay there needs to be some upgrades!!

The location of the hotel is superb. It is easily accessible to all the restaurants and shops. Recommend for families.
We were very impressed. Would have liked a deeper pool but all in all was a great experience a great sleep and ample parking with security

Lounge has a nice atmosphere and Houston's the bar has some fun events over the year. Lots of vlts for gambling and is open til 2:45 a.m

Definitely recommend inexpensive Stay. pool and hot tub was amazing. The slide was a great experience room was clean Close to highway and many restaurants :)
