Nice hotel very clean and well maintained! Beds are very comfortable, staff is friendly, food is great, pool, slide and hot tub are excellent. Will definitely stay again when we come through Brandon.

Staff is rude and managers to. It's not the first time I stayed here but when you hear the managers/supervisors disagree, that definitely tells and shows you there are problems with staff. The hotel key locks don't always work and gets very loud in the hallways...even after quiet time. Seems like there's always ourselves or groups we're traveling with asking for repairs to be done in the rooms with something not working right. Staff will tell customers different times for check out times. Even though the proper checkout time is 11am, they have let others check out by 12:30pm-1pm at very latest. How is that fair?

My aunt has mobility issues. She was showing her house as she was trying to sell it, so needed a place to stay. We specifically requested a room that was easily accessible, however we got stuck on the second floor. The restaurant manager was awful, it was My cousins birthday and her meal was very Ill prepared, and although I was told I had too much to drink, the restaurant staff proceeded to cut off my entire party because I said I would never return to the restaurant . Lost revenue was approximately $200. Stay elsewhere

Came in for a darts tournament. Staff were extremely rude in the morning at front desk. The pool is absolutely disgusting. The water is super cloudy and the hot tub is cold and the water is brown. The fumes of chlorine are so strong one of our children became sick. Will not be returning in the future

Overall, we were very pleased with our stay! Before I begin- the hotel restaurant is BAD! The pool hours are 9am until 10:30pm so if you are not ok with the noise- I suggest not getting a poolside room. NOTE: not all pool side rooms are adjoining (158, 160, and 162 are NOT adjoining) We had poolside rooms so we did notice that some of the padio doors could use repair or replacement (poor sliding, rooms 164 and 158), but given the age of that part of the building, that is understandable and did not bother us a lot as we kept our door open most of the day so we could go in and out during the day. The pool is not very deep (ranging from 0.85m to 1.20m if I remember correctly), plus the very shallow toddler pool and a hot tub. The beds were very comfortable and the blankets and towels looked very clean and new- which contradicts some previous comments- meaning that they were likely updated since then. The pool and hot tub area was clean at the start of each day, and pool security did a great job cleaning up chairs, towels, etc throughout the day. He did not interupt or get in the way, which was very appreciated and made for a relaxing stay. The hotel room did not have a bathtub- shower only, with good water pressure. The lamps did not have USB ports like some hotels do.

We will NEVER EVER stay at the Clarion in Brandon again. Their quiet time begins at 11pm but they do not enforce that if you complain. Last night the people next to us went in and out of their room until 3am. Banging the door, running down the hall, talking loudly in there room, somehow hitting the walls while in room. We called the front desk. They said they would send security but did not. At 4am someone was knocking at their door which sounded like knocking at our door and then a group of them proceeded to chat in the hallway. I understand some people are rude and have no respect for other people who have paid to get a good night's sleep but the hotel is responsible for enforcing their commitment to their customers. We will be sharing this experience wherever we can!!!

Told us $140 over the phone, we agreed to that price so we gave our card details then the number jumped to $210 we were surprised and said that we would have to think about it because that was a large jump, later to find out the next day that our card was charged $210 even though we did not agree to that price and or agree to go through with the booking. We have also asked our friends and family and they have said that the hotel has done the exact same thing to them. We have since gotten our money back but will not be booking with this hotel in the future because of this experience.

Overall not a bad place. I know the effort was certainly made to be clean. That being said the room has a balcony onto the pool which was insanely noisy. The balcony was shared which was weird as I was traveling solo.
well if you enjoy listening to family reunions and birthday parties all weekend until 11 pm , then this is the place for you . I guess they rent out the pool to social functions . There isn’t enough chlorine in the world to get me in there .NEVER AGAIN
