Nice looking cozy coffee shop. Love that their at the winnipeg folk festival as well.
I love that after coming only a few times the staff remembers your drink order. And they make my drink with care and with love. I feel special walking in and know I’m getting a great tasting beverage. Super happy with the sugar free options.
Great little place to sit down with friends or familyb
Five stars for the Vietnamese Frappe alone - that drink was an experience! Smooth, full flavoured, the brown sugar, and we think we even tasted a bit of smokey essence! (right in photo)
Also a bit of 5 star love for their Winnipeg Folk Fest kiosk every year.
The green tea frappe (left in photo) was mid, but still good.
Area is spacious with front seating and back room seating. Looks like a good venue to meetup at.
milkshakes were good so were the bagels the coffee was alright
Horrible food. Horrible coffee.
Today was my second and last time coming to this nasty little place. The last time I was here I ordered an americano and a piece of one of the big cakes. Both to go as I was on a road trip. The coffee tasted like burnt eggs with a hint of turpentine. I tried to eat the cake later. It had gone off. It tasted like soap and expired milk. Today I gave this place a second chance. Big mistake. First red flag: everything was wrapped in plastic. Lots of excuses for doing this but unfortunately this is an indication of poor stock management. Quality and presentation always suffer. I had a cookie that had no flavour other than old cheap flour. I had them peel the wrap off a muffin that looked suspiciously like it came from Costco. My mistake... it came from Kuipers -a local cheap supply bakery. The muffin was almost hollow and tasted like cheap expired flour and soap. I brought it to the counter and told one of the staff how horrible it was. Second red flag: The manager was working behind the counter when I returned the muffin. I sat in the cafe for another 30 mins because I had to get some project planning done and needed a table. AT NO POINT DID THE MANAGER COME OUT TO TALK TO ME. I just returned a muffin and complained. My coffee cooled enough for me to try it. No change from last time -burnt eggs and turpentine. It tasted so bad my mouth became irritated. This place deffinitely is Forbidden Flavours. Anyone who loves food and coffee with flavour is forbidden to go here. Hopefully, after this place goes under, the next owners do a better job.
Fantastic place to stop and have coffee with a friend. calm and comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff, and the prices arent crazy. its a fancier shop so you pay a bit more, but worth it. Love going here!!
It is a community coffee shop that you can realize from the little things, and the atmosphere. Definitely separates itself from the coffee chains.
Didn't get food but did have coffee. Excellent as usual.
This is my favorite place to bring clients. Relaxing atmosphere to meet for the first time.
Excellent staff, menu and dining experience! Let the greatness continue!
