Montana’s BBQ & Bar

I just got an online order from here, I ordered their Chicken NACHOS. I promise you if you see what that is on their menu, you certainly will agree this is NOT it. What happened here was like someone topped spinach dip or something with chicken and cheese, and hid pitas under the chips. It’s one thing if you accidentally give a customer a wrong item by mistake, its totally different when you make a contraption like this. I’m mostly just so disappointed in the fact that someone thought this was okay to do. Bottom line is, i don’t recommended ordering the chicken nachos because they apparently arent at all as they are described.

First and last time ordering take out from here. Chicken for ceasar salad was severely charred. Chicken tasted like a dirty grill. I also ordered apple sauce ribs. Ribs were also charred and without sauce! Major disappointment! Must be a new cook. Montanas used to be better than great!

Update! Montanas responded very quickly and offered a coupon which they are mailing out. I will try them again. Thank you Montana for quick response.

First time to Montana's as we were traveling through Brandon. We were greeted and seated immediately. Dayne was our server and did an outstanding job. Their menu is extensive, and it was difficult to choose. We chose the nachos with pulled pork as the topping. The nachos included pulled pork, chopped tomatoes, green onions, jalapenos, and melted cheese all served over multi flavored nacho chips with toppings of salsa and sour cream. We paid extra for the guacamole. The nacho dish was enough for both of us. However, we felt the pulled pork topping was scarce. Their manager came by to check on us since we had not been there before. We enjoyed meeting her.

There was a lot of flies around the deck I had to move inside otherwise everything was perfect and I got to watch the sunset as I ate it was beautiful

Great experience, took my daughter to her very first sit down birthday dinner she turned 3 and absolutely loved the singing and of course the dessert that came with it!

There is 2 servers in particular that go out of there way to make it a joy and great experience every time I go there. Julie and Lauren go above and beyond every single time. There team work and efforts are extremely noteworthy and impressive. They definitely set the bar high in an age of mediocre service. Thanks for making my day!

The steaks were good and the portions were decent. I really enjoyed the service and the atmosphere of this place. I liked the design of this place. So rustic and comfy.
Good value for money and you don’t have to sacrifice the quality for that. I will go back again for sure.

One meal out of our table of six was just never made, this could have been easily remedied if anyone including our server would have come back to check in once the other meals were brought out.
Unfortunately, we sat there for at least 10-15 mins before we managed to flag someone down.
What happened to servers circling back to make sure everything is perfect??
Server couldn't give any particular reason and was apologetic, manager came over and first asked how everything is?!
Then advised that the one missed meal would be no charge with apologies.
Problem is this takes a nice family meal and makes it very uncomfortable.
We kindly asked that the missed meal was brought in a take out container and left.
(Manager had to bring more drinks, server probably should have seen that as well)
You simply need to do better at training by our experience alone.
Update, had an opportunity to discuss our experience with a manager. I was able to convey where I think things went south. It was handled professionally and I appreciate that.

Server was great and portions were generous that I took some home. I was expecting below average but it was better than I thought. Nice washrooms. And workers were young local people, not a single TFW if you know what I mean.

We love stopping at this Montana's in Manitoba! We usually always end up ordering all you can eat ribs and some sort of wing and steak packages, we're never disappointed at this restaurant. And even when disappointment is on its way, the staff always finds a way to negate it, and make our experience awesome! In fact our server the last time we were here also went the international Music Camp as a ballet dancer, and had lots to talk to our son about! Great service, great food, will go back anytime!
