I ordered the 10 oz steak meal for $36 and it was plain no seasoning or marinade which means they did no effort to cook it. The gravy tasted like water. My server Allie was awesome and saw the mistake and allowed me another order so I got the breaded chicken covered in white gravy and it was tasteless too it’s like the cook doesn’t wanna make a effort at all. Again the server Allie took all the cost off the bill which I did not expect, she got a tip. Montanas needs to learn how to use seasonings and marinades.

3rd time dining at Montana's. It was my second time ordering the beef rib. Amazing taste but sadly slightly overcooked. It was quite a bit smaller than the first rib I've eaten there. The outside was tough (couldn't even cut it with a steak knife). The other time the rib was done perfectly. Maybe due to size the cook time was off?Anyways, staff was very friendly, food came pretty fast. Very cool atmosphere if you like farming and ranching.We had takeout once before and I had a burger. Don't remember which one exactly but it was the best burger I've had in Brandon. Our group ordered a variety of dishes and everyone was very happy with their order!I'm happy with the portion size too. I won't have leftovers to box up but a meal + a dessert fills me up quite nicely.Oh and they're very kid friendly!

I ordered fish and chips, fish came covered in dark brown batter with hard and greasy chips. Fish was also extremely greasy. I have had fish and chips at Montana's in Winnipeg, which were excellent. This meal was disgusting. I also found the ceiling rafters and all items hung around the walls, very dirty and dusty. I will certainly not return to this establishment, I now regret not complaining about the meal and paying for it. I ended up with a very bloated and gassy stomach all night.

Good was great, service was great. Went there for my daughter's 30th Birthday requested if they could do something for her. Nothing was done, that was the only disappointment.
My hubby and I receive Gift Certificates from family for birthdays etc from Montanas because it has always been our GO TO place to take out! We live out of town and always treat ourselves to a meal and usually take home with us! ( Sometimes we eat in).. This is the second time in a row that our order hasn’t been correct…it’s frustrating to drive 50 minutes…. Warm up supper and find our order is incorrect! ( not cool Montanas with the cost of food these days)! I repeated my order over the phone twice… ( I’m not going to lie) thePerson taking the I order (I had to repeat myself a few times)…. Even had to spell the pick up name …(Rick) twice and it was even then under the name “ Kate” when I picked up and paid! Montanas… get your act correct…. You are going to lose some very “ faithful “ customers!
