The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Brandon

Made a reservation- requested a warm area in restarting however two of four guests were very cold.

The Keg is one of the few places in Brandon where the food is always great and the servers are efficient and friendly. When I go out this is what I want ..... to feel pampered and have better food than I can make at home.

We started with calamari and the baked garlic shrimp. Calamari was delicious as usual and the shrimp were just OK. They were way overcooked making them small and rubbery. After our starters we both had the 7oz fillet which was delicious!! Cooked perfect and seasoned perfectly! Service was top notch and the atmosphere was great. Overall it was a great dining experience but I wouldn't expect anything less for the price. 2 starters, 2 mains, 3 cocktails and tip was $250.00.

We hadn't been to the Bdn Keg for awhile, so this was definitely a treat. Great service and table location. Food & beverages were great.

Our little waitress in the lounge was Isabel and she was absolutely fantastic. She checked on us just the right amount and was attentive when we were deep in conversation not to interrupt us. Five stars for Isabel!!

The Keg was very busy. We had a reservation. They were 25 minutes late seating us. Two of the features they had already run out of. Out of twice baked potatoes. Service was excellent as always!

I believe the wait staff may have been new. She was very friendly however timing of service was 'off'. Bread was served late. When pouring wine into the glass she poured almoat half of the 9oz carafe. Food: hardly any fried onions were on the plate and the last two visits the prime rib meal did not have any veggies. Drinks: we ordered a dessert coffee: irish cream. It was black coffee with a shot of Jamieson Irish Whiskey. When we spoke to the waitress about the drink she returned back with a shot of baileys and some whipped cream. An irish coffee should have sugar rim, coffee, bailey's and whipped cream.

Our hostess was incredible. We were a big table of 6 adults celebrating a birthday. She was wonderful - handled everything very well - keeping on top of refills and timing was perfect... She was very professional!

Great food!! Good service. Meal came early before appetizers and cutlery. Only complaint. Would go back!

We were comfortable and our server was very good. Overall, the meals were good with the exception of undercooked vegetables though that may be a personal preference. We appreciated the Thanksgiving meal option.

Excellent service for a large group. Assigned two servers to our table and both were attentive to our needs. Very friendly. Food was excellent and all courses were received in a timely manner.

There was a sewer issue last night, no bathroom use. Restricted beverages as a result which was understandable. Lack of wine glasses with a stem. Our celebration was rushed out the door and cut very, very short. Meals came when our appetizers and salads were less than 50% consumed. Our server was good but the manager was terrible and awkward. He failed to compensate our party properly with only a discount on some food items after we had to beg for one. He thought a coupon for $25 for the next visit was adequate. Unacceptable. Manager needs training on situation resolution and ensuring then customer is pleased. 50% of our party does not want to return. A very disappointing retirement party.

The waitress was run off her feet. I think she had too many tables therefore we waiting with empty drinks for over 20min, had to do for refills, had to also ask for dessert menu a fryer sitting there for a long time with empty plates and waited a long time for the bill

We went out for dinner and had steaks, lobster and French onion soup. Everything was great. Took a while for it to come but it was very busy. Spiked match colada is amazing.

The food was phenomenal, staff was all very friendly, and efficient. Ambiance was perfection, had a quiet, dimly lit table. Perfect for our anniversary, the added dessert was a nice touch.
