Had a wonderful time - all was good - everyone's food was very well done and the kids had a fun time
The meal was fabulous as usual, there were four of us and we all had steak, the caesar and wedge salads were both large and delish.
We were greeted as we walked in by very friendly smiles and quickly taken to our reserved table. Our server was Talon and he was very friendly and knowledgeable as well as attentive throughout our meal. The food was absolutely scrumptious and our drinks prepared by Emma were delicious! We will definitely be back.
We had a reservation and were able to get right in when we arrived. All servers who waited on us were very good. Food arrived and was prepared as requested.
At our birthday dinner at the Brandon Keg, we had very good service. However, an overall great dining experience is important, and The Keg is dropping the ball with their current choice of martini olives. The Keg, for some strange reason, still continues to buy and to put tiny olives in their martinis. Please buy the regular size olives you served in the past. The current olives are really small and quickly turn mushy ....wrecking a great Keg martini... which, by the way, used to be excellent.... before OliveGate.
Great food Steak cooked to perfection drinks were ok server was great
Just wanted to provide a few comments as a person dining at the Keg with celiac disease (gluten free). I’ve had mixed experiences dining here - when it’s busy (which is often), I find that the lack of communication with servers and the kitchen regarding gluten free options and cross-contamination makes for an uneasy experience. This is greatly exacerbated by the fact that the online menu and the in-person menu both indicate different gluten free items, so it’s difficult to tell what is safe. Those with celiac often plan ahead to know what menu options they can order, so I’d appreciate this being updated to avoid confusion! However, when the restaurant is not busy, I’ve had some good experiences where I felt that my meal was celiac-safe (albeit menu confusion) and where servers were able to communicate my needs with the kitchen and share what accommodations could be made.
I would really appreciate if servers at the Keg ask guests at their table if there are any allergies prior to ordering (other restaurants in Brandon should do this too!) to help those with allergies/sensitivities/celiac feel more comfortable dining there, and to open up the conversation for guests to feel at ease. Since dining out is a real luxury these days, I think these suggestions would help create a more pleasant experience for celiacs at the Keg. Thank you!
Service was so long took an hour to get my food and my burger was burnt.
Amazing service, our server was even top notch with a child under the age 5 at our table. Clean environment. Great space for the amount of people in our party.
Had a birthday/reunion with two other friends last evening. Food was very good. Service was terrible. The evening manager even came out to apologize (not sure how she found out because we didn’t ask for her) so obviously it was another employee who saw we were getting the service we should. Disappointing for sure and therefore our tips (or lack of reflected this). If you’re going to work in the service industry, you need to be prepared to provide the experience for your paying clients. That being said there was absolutely no compensation for apology we received. But my chilien seabass was great!

We had a lovely attentive server. The appetizers were great that was escargot and shrimps. I believe most people were satisfied with their meals. The prime rib was good. The tenderloin steak was a little chewy and mine had a bit of fat around the edge which wasn't that appealing. The twice baked potatoes were awesome. The others seem to enjoy their garlic mash. It was one of our parties birthdays, and they brought a huge piece of Billy Miner cake for the six of us to share. A very nice evening
Everything was great!!!!
We attended the Keg in Brandon for an Anniversary dinner. Food was delicious as usual however the price of a steak has increased significantly. We are willing to pay the price for a celebration however wouldn't for an ordinary meal out. We had exceptional service from our server Kayla. She was polite, friendly and just the right amount of attention.
The service was friendly. But I’ve never been so disappointed in my life at the regard they had for basically ruining my brand new coat I had just purchased hours before due to an accidental hot butter spill that splattered EVERYWHERE!! I understand accidents happen but the compassion behind the whole incident was terrible! Not only was my jackets ruined with multiple splatters of hot butter, but my husband’s Jean jacket had butter all over the back of it too!! My sister, who was sitting right next to me had a t- shirt ruined, not to mention the back of her hair was covered with the butter as well!! I’m just so mad and upset about the whole thing!!
It's always been my favorite spot to go. Dinner was great. Our server was great as well. Price is high but everything is!!!
