Visited March 17, 2024. Dinner before a concert. Our server was excellent. He knew the menu back to back and graciously answered all our question. The food was fantastic as was the atmosphere.

The Keg in Brandon continues to be a fantastic dining experience. Staff are well trained and courteous. Atmosphere is “steak house” so dark and traditional. Food is of good quality and well prepared.

2 of us one ordered our steak medium rare. The other ordered medium. Both came out extremely well done. Even the potato was black and dried out the mushrooms were black. The outside Of the steak was black. The inside was Gray half the one steak was not even Is chewable on the last few bites. That was after everything took forever to come out. The restaurant was 3/4 full at most. The waiter was very nice Latino. Gentleman, however, we could not hear a word. He was extremely slow at bringing everything out to us.This is supposed to be the nicest place in Brandon to go. Eat and everybody sitting around in dirty clothes and baseball caps. We should have spoke up but because how slow everything was we were Starving, and so hungry.We didn't want to wait that long again for another Overdone steak

The food was perfect, the server was Sydney and she was great, super friendly, and happy. We have added this to our route now out to Calgary from Ontario.

Unfortunately some of our meals were not up to par. The escargot mushrooms were so small, 1/4 of the size of the snails. The escargot and the stuffed mushrooms were so greasy you could hardly eat them. The entrees were good except for the ribs. The ribs were completely over cooked to the point of dried out and crusty. Did not eat the ribs.. took them home for the dog. The service was great as usual. Thinking the chef had an off night!

Didn't love the table in the main hallway however Tyler was fantastic as our server. Our food was a late coming out due to a large table in the kitchen, we appreciated Tyler touching base with us on how long it was taking. Overall 5 stars for service and food.

My fiancée and I were out celebrating our anniversary, I had put that in our reservation, we were put at a table in the open instead of a booth that was empty, and then a family with 2 young kids were seated at the table next to us. I wasn't impressed as it completed ruined the evening as we had to deal with the noise of 2 kids when we wanted to have a romantic night out. The table was also underneath a vent which was unpleasant when our food came and my lobster ended up getting cold almost as soon and it was placed on table. My fiancée was also uncomfortable with where he was seated as he was right in the aisle and he was being passed by the waiter and various customers. This was our second year celebrating our anniversary at the Keg and this year was so disappointing.
Amazing birthday supper for my friend! Our server Kylee always goes over and above! She's my favorite, has great suggestions, and always exceptional service!!!! Thanks Kylee!!!!

Server was wonderful!! The lobster was different this time, couldn't put a finger on exactly what but the texture/taste was off. Need better lighting!!! Everything else was 10/10, will be back!

Our salads came out after our meals and only after we reminded the server. The butter for the lobster was cold and hard. One of the steaks was ordered medium well and came out bloody. Sent it back, waited fifteen minutes and then the server came and asked if I wanted a box... had to remind him to bring the steak back out. No apology or acknowledgment of how awful the service was.

We love the Keg and the food and dining experience is always great. Our waitress could have been more “polished”. She was very curt with her answers to our questions and I don't appreciate my dishes being clattered down like she could care less.
