“The owner couple are super nice. He went to the station to pick up the guests. You feel that she treats the guests as her family members. They made special arrangements so that we could check out as late as we want before the train leaves at 7:30 pm. The room and washroom are clean and newly renovated. It is quiet and bright with a good view of the town. The restaurant connected is very nice and big enough for 50 guests. The location is super, 200 meters to everything, including the train station, the city complex (hospital, gym, school) and the Hudson Bay where we saw the aurora. A grocery and department store is just cross the street. Highly recommended.”
“This modest hotel has clean rooms, comfy mattresses, and the friendliest front desk staff. You will likely be disappointed if you regularly stay at posh hotels so keep that in mind. Ear plugs are handy if you are a sensitive sleeper or request a room on the top floor. Would ? stay here again and the proximity to the Ptarmigan restaurant can’t be beat!”
