“This is hands down the best pizza I've had in years and now Speros is the ONLY place I order pizza from. The crust is perfect, soft and crispy in all the right places. The toppings are excellent quality and generous; and that sauce is on point! Chef's kiss perfection! I highly recommend giving this place a try if you haven't already ;^D”

“We spend a weekend in Gimli for our anniversary every summer and always visit the Ship & Plough for great service, super atmosphere and awesome food and drinks. We highly recommend a visit!”

“The place is inside the Viking hotel, which needs a bit of an update. They have a large dining room, customer service is good, the food is always great, you can ask for them to nudge up the spice level depending on your taste, they will let you know if there is a wait time for take out, they are very popular for call in orders, so if you are patient, it will pay off. Their food is always hot, fresh, when we have ordered it, if you buy more than $65 you get free chicken fried rice or fried Wontons with sweet &sour sauce. Large portions, for plenty of leftovers!

“As a travelling caricature artist with Wonder Shows I have the greatest pleasure of eating at some very nice restaurants throughout Manitoba. Seagulls is one of those places. Located in Gimli I meet some of their staff and I get to see them hard at work cleaning tables to make sure the customers receive a real pleasant experience. Why not give Seagulls restaurant a try next time in Gimli? I have every Gimli Icelandic Festival! See you there!”

“January 1/2023 Stopped in for lunch Thursday on our way to Hecla from Wpg and it was so good we stopped in on our way home Sunday Cheeseburgers and gyros and fries for our fam of 4. Insane…..best cheeseburger I’ve had in years !! I’ve had VJ’s, George’s, Burger Place, Dairy Wip, Mrs Mikes and more and this burger blows them all away. Large homemade patty, seasoned well and cooked perfectly. Chili on burger was meaty and great flavour. Nice amount of raw onions and pickles aaaand that toasted bun. ?My mouth is watering. Lol. Fries were great and not soggy and the gyro was very meaty with great flavour. Staff and owner were all very friendly!!”

“Subway is good, you can get most items added or removed, bread, the way you want it. My only issue is the increased price, for bread, veggies, meat, and cheese. For $20, you could make your own at home, but since this is a fast food place, they make for a fraction of the time, and you can get with different dressings/ sauces. The staff are always courteous and helpful.”

“Really disappointed. We do not order take out meals very often lately, and I suppose this is a reminder why. Ordered 2 pizzas - a small pepperoni and onion, and a large pepperoni and mushroom. Not a challenging order. Nearly $60. The order ticket was written out correctly, so no fault to the person who took the order. But what we picked up (and sadly didn't open until we were home after the 40 minute round trip), we're two very burned pizzas. I mean, BLACK around the edges and the bottom almost entirely burned. Might be able to overlook that - but although the small pepp/onion pizza was correct, the large pepp/mush, was also given the onion treatment - not a few to be picked off, but handfulls, underneath the mushrooms.... and therefore not edible for the person who ordered it. Got stuck with pizza pops instead, as there was no way we were driving all the way back to the restaurant. MUCH different pizza than last summer. I hate leaving negative reviews, but businesses are dropping the ball a lot more lately. We won't be back, but hopefully this helps you improve for your regular customers. it's important to keep local businesses open and supported, but in order to do that, a quality and correct product should be provided.”
