My family ate there At lunchtime. All our meals were amazing. We had chicken BLTs and the borsch and dill pickle soup. We all agreed the borsch was the best we’ve ever had. We will all definitely be back.

Ended up here when Kris's fish and chips was closed way earlier than their advertised time despite coming for it. So glad we did! Had the Pickerel tacos and chips and was awesome! A little pricey for amount but would go again!

Over the course of the last year, my social media has targeted me with posts from the Ship and Plough. After some research, I decided that if we ever got to Manitoba, we would absolutely make the effort to support this establishment. As luck would have it, we ended up in Winnipeg, so decided to make the trip to Gimli and we are glad we did! This pleasant pub serves up some delicious food options. I ordered the sweet potato curry and thoroughly enjoyed the coconutty/peanut buttery flavour. My partner ordered the mac & cheese and it was delicious (I sampled)! There is a good selection of Manitoba craft brews, and we were able to try some beers we have not had before. Kristy (I hope this is correct) was awesome and made sure we knew what sort of vegetarian options were available to us. She talked to us throughout the night, promoted upcoming shows and encouraged us to return (which we will). We thoroughly enjoyed this establishment!

The food was great. Had fish and chips and the fish tacos. Only diwside with the coleslaw dressing which was a bit lemon forward and not creamy. Service great. Ambience was dark wood which seemed to suit the vibe. Other complsints about wait time for food are not relevant inless its a music night and they are packed. Grest beer selection. Wirth stopping in.

90 minutes to get our food. barely anyone else in there. with that said they must have been understaffed or something because we ordered Mac and cheese and sandwiches which should be easy and fast to make..... server was nice and gave us our beer for free because of the wait. But food wasnt great. do not order the club. very slow to get it.

Deeeelitious!!! We stopped in for a drinkypoo, and yummy it was deeeelitious! Kgb got a tequila shumtjin and I got a long island ice tea or shumtjin, then we started tossing chairs around, got in a couple of fuites, don u come here mor Judnngimme one more n.oll showyo shumtjin fo pinch
It was lovely and the bartenders were very deeeelightful and they have lots of music there on the weekends usually!
Nice ambiance, good service, 17.50 for 6 pieces of pork ribs… meh. Not sure I will be in a hurry to head back.

I'm in the area once a year for 2 weeks, and I'll eat here several times each year. It's good, fresh, and consistent. The service is always personable and fast, lots of small local brewery products available and the vibe is just divine. Perfect little pub, highly highly recommend.

Due to the Icelandic festival, there was a 40 minute wait but honestly, our waitress (Krista) was super friendly/has good vibes. Definitely worth the wait because the classic poutine was delicious! I haven’t had a good poutine in a while, and I live in Wpg! The music is a mix of different alternative rock which is a fav of mine! 10/10, for sure!
