“I had a very tasty turkey sandwich and potato soup with homemade pickles on the side. I’m not sure if I was supposed to add the pickles to the potato soup but I did and it was a wonderful combination. They also have a very large selection of green and black and herbal teas.”

“The Beach Hut provides very high-quality fast food. We stopped by for a quick bite on our way through town… and were simply blown away by the quality of food and pleasant service. Everything was fresh and seemed hand made… I wish The Beach Hut was closer to my little corner of Canada.”

“A really good cooked breakfast with toast for 11.99 CAD, plus taxes and tip. Unlimited coffee extra at 3.35 CAD, pus taxes etc. Very friendly efficient service. Bright and pleasant surroundings. They are open in the evenings for drinks, including draft beers, and dinner, but last orders for both 8.00 pm. Close around 8.30 pm. In fact Killlarney generally closes down about 8.00.”
“If you live in or are visiting Killarney, you must drop in to the Rolling Pin Bakery. It has an amazing variety of baked goods from breads, cakes, cookies and all kinds of sweet buns. And it smells fantastic in that shop. My family had a quick visit to Killarney and all nine of us wanted to include the Rolling Pin in our visit. It brought back very pleasant memories of past summers when we were younger and we stayed for weeks at the beach.”
