“I came here with one of my good friends on 03/15/25. The ambience inside the restaurant was very nice. We were impressed with the decor. We started off with the Bruschetta which was incredible. We then had the Feta Salad. The lettuce was so fresh, and the vinegrette dressing was lovely. We both ordered the Pesto Spaghetti & were impressed with the quality. Fantastic experience. “TCB is fantastic. The Taproom and the function room are great venues for an amzing good time with friends. The beer is as good as any, and the food is terrific. I mean the whole menu. I've sampled everything and never once been disappointed. And the staff, without exception, have made me and my friends feel welcome and appreciated. The fact that this is a locally owned independent venue, and not some beige chain outfit with prefab, feigned "flair", makes me like it all the more. This place is genuine. If you haven't tried TCB yet, you're missing out.”

“This is the best sushi in Winnipeg. we stumbled upon this gem about a month ago and were amazed by how delicious and reasonably priced it is. Our second visit today was even better! Absolutely everything we've sampled is delicious; from the sushi pizza, the beef tataki, the rolls, the miso.. and the Sapporo frozen beer... 5☆. On top of fabulous food is the service! A+! I can not recommend this restaurant enough. If we lived closer we would probably be in at least twice a week!”

“Great Lil' Spot to Get some Good Grub. The Beef Dip was absolutely amazing on the Foccoscia bread BUT it's too soft for the Au Jus (just falls apart in a soggy mess and hard to handle) Definitely recommend toasting the bread longer and the Pierogies less (but that's just my opinion) They're a lil' hard on the teefers and like mine just slightly fried. Garlic Parm fries were a Unique upgrade but lacking Garlic Flavor & Value. Would be amazing vs ok with a Pinch more Parm. Atmosphere was Modern,Upgraded, and CLEAN. Loved the Huge Ferns and Cafe' aesthetic. Great Service!!! Drinks always Full. Would definitely come back to try other menu items. Menu has lots to Offer.”

“I really like sushi restaurants that don't skimp on the fish. Umi definitely falls into this category. The fish was fresh and plentiful. There are many different rolls to choose from as well as many Korean dishes.

We had a good variety of different Korean dishes, sushi, and sashimi. All were flavourful and large portions. We will definitely be back soon.”

“My Grandson & myself were at the McGillvray Original Pancake House today around 12:30 PM. The service was over the top. We felt like royalty. We only had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. The restaurant was full & there were lots of staff. My grandson had the giant ham & cheese pancake & I had the banana split crepes, both delicious..The servers were courteous & amazing.”
