“Amazing beverages at fair prices! What more could you ask for? The owner is one of the most wonderful people, and she regularly supports non-profits in the area. They also sell art and books from local creators. They seem to be getting busier and busier and for good reason. They have a drive through, delicious baked goods, milk alternatives, and all their beverages are freshly hand crafted. My only critique is I wish their menu items were a bit more dependable, but I understand that this isn’t easy! This is hands down my favourite business in town, much better than Tim Hortons or Starbucks.”
“We stayed there one night only. I did read other reviews about outdated rooms. Yes. They are not new. But man! What a comfortable mattrass and pillows!!! ?Had such a great sleep!Great people at front desk and cleaning.Motel room condition and washroom was very good and clean. No bed bugs ( we checked) . Super close to LDB Beach area. We walked there and back.Great find when on the budget.Felt safe too.I'd come back again.”

“After I picked up my mum from visiting hey let’s go out for dinner before we head back to the city lights. Why not stop by Chicken Chef the food was always tasty back in the day when my parents lived there. Noticed the restaurant was remodelled to inviting warm colours, good lighting, the atmosphere is inviting, quiet, clean carpets, tables.We ordered our food no word of a lie the food was brought to our table before we could say “supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” honest. The food was brought to our table quick ‘n hot. Mmmmmmmm soooooo good. The two piece chicken dinner was tasty brought to us by a beautiful ‘n friendly waitress by the name of Carissa. “Wow!!! My husband, kids and I met here for supper tonight and we received amazing customer service!!! The ladies were patient with our first-timer sons, made our subs in an efficient manner, and were kind and courteous throughout our whole evening! They wrote “Dad” and “Mom” on the correct subs, made sure each boy had the correct sides in their bags, and even brought out extra cookies when they heard there was a birthday in our group! We were blown away by their kindness! Thank you for such a great experience!!!”
