We stayed there one night only. I did read other reviews about outdated rooms. Yes. They are not new. But man! What a comfortable mattrass and pillows!!! ?Had such a great sleep!Great people at front desk and cleaning.Motel room condition and washroom was very good and clean. No bed bugs ( we checked) . Super close to LDB Beach area. We walked there and back.Great find when on the budget.Felt safe too.I'd come back again.
We were greeted and served promptly by a friendly server who was happy to make some suggestions from the lunch menu. The butter chicken is one of the best in Manitoba, as is the garlic naan. The chicken club sandwich was okay, but lacked flavour, the chicken was breaded so it didn’t really go well together, and the fries are generic and frozen. Friendly and fairly clean atmosphere, great service.
Rooms are definitely older. The beds were very hard. Pillows themselves were stained. Pillowcases had stains. Found long black hair on one pillow, and I have very short hair.For this, the hotel charge was too high for the quality provided.I wouldn't stay there again.Check-in staff were friendly and courteous.When I checked out, I was going to mention the above to the morning staff, but they just took the keys and said thanks, and they went back into the bar area.
