After I picked up my mum from visiting hey let’s go out for dinner before we head back to the city lights. Why not stop by Chicken Chef the food was always tasty back in the day when my parents lived there. Noticed the restaurant was remodelled to inviting warm colours, good lighting, the atmosphere is inviting, quiet, clean carpets, tables.We ordered our food no word of a lie the food was brought to our table before we could say “supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” honest. The food was brought to our table quick ‘n hot. Mmmmmmmm soooooo good. The two piece chicken dinner was tasty brought to us by a beautiful ‘n friendly waitress by the name of Carissa. Thank you making our experience memorable ‘n with delicious food.Have a beautiful dayColleen

It's just as delicious as the one in Portage, and the fries are also great, which I didn't expect...There are not many people at night and it is quiet. By the way, the Shaqima there is pretty good, you can buy it and eat it home...

It is what you would expect from a fried chicken place. They are trying to stand out as well with special lunches. Food is of quality. Gravy is too watered down for my taste or from previous experience. The rest was good.

This is my first time posting a review on a restaurant ever. Usually I just forget about it but I wanted to save others from wasting their time and money. I ordered their specialty burger called the spicy clucker as part of the burger trail week. I was actually excited about trying it but when I opened my burger, there was hardly any chicken and it was mostly batter, the small amount of chicken that was in there was dried out like it was sitting all day. I took it back and got a refund and the lady told me well the chicken is supposed to be battered and I said yes but its 90% batter and no chicken. I also got a poutine which I kept cause I was hungry and thought how can they mess up a poutine. Well when I opened the container, there was only a handful of fries and watered down gravy. The amount of food for the money is not worth it. I will never order from here again.

Arrived with a bigger group. We also had little kids with us. The server put us into the lounge area as they didn't want to move tables together. The restaurant was empty. There was a man in the lounge area and little kids shouldn't have been around him. There was loud music playing. Server took our order. We received our drinks and that was about it. We arrived shortly before 6pm. The restaurant closed at 8. At 7:45 the server came and told us our food will be ready any minute now, we can go to the front and pay but we can't eat inside. Also said we would be getting a discount for the inconvenience. We came to the front to pay didn't get any discounts and had to wait toll 8:30 to actually receive the food. Took our food and went on our way. Once we opened the order it wasn't even what we ordered. It was a total disaster and very poorly manged from the staff. Definitely won't be coming back.
