Don't eat the cinnamon buns. I had 6 of them, plus a bunch of cookies and some cake and felt sick after! Jokes aside, the baking is absolutely fantastic and so good it's hard to stop eating! Shop also has some locally made crafts etc which gives it a wonderful small town feel. Fun fact: the owner designed the shop after her grandfather's store when she was growing up. The place is decorated pretty much like a Hallmark Channel Christmas movie set. If you're in the area worth every second to stop in.

Our first time to Gran’s Bake Shop in Lac du Bonnet. There are many scrumptious looking goodies on display. Also a wide array of coffees and made in Manitoba items and delicacies. We didn’t get there early enough for their famous cinnamon buns (pre order!). We bought Nanaimo bars, imperial cookies and some honey mustard. I must say that their Nanaimo bars were the best I’ve ever had. Next trip will be for cinnamon buns.

First time to Grans bakery in Lac Du Bonnet visiting from Winnipeg. Seriously, the pastry is to die for! Purchased date squares, date cookies, peacan tarts, cinnamon buns and cinnamon knots. We should have bought more to freeze to take back home. We give this bakery a 10/ 10! It is really worth the drive! THANKS Grans bakery. Glen & Deborah
