Finally, after hearing about this place for years, got to check it out. It didn't disappoint. Worth the trip for the atmosphere alone, both inside the restaurant and outside with the view of the river and dam. Stunning. The food was really as expected. Good, downhome feel. Fries were hot & tasty. Burger was loaded & tasty but not fresh-hot.
Skinner's reminds me of beach food, but no beach, but has a good view of the bridge & curtain locks.

Window & Counter service hard & soft ice cream and “Hot Dogs” & burgers.
Two business in Lockport. One by the waterfront & directly across from the locks. We had ice cream and watched boats get lowered in the locks from high side to low side. Very interesting :)
