“Was in wpg for a apt and tried this place for the first time! it was so yummy! best burger I have had in so long! and the wonderful lady at the till was amazing and so helpful seeing that I have a broke hand! “Nuburger Kenaston: I was greeted by two very warm and friendly gentlemen. One of them gave me a low-down on the menu as I had never been there before. My burger (monster something rather) was huge and soooo delicious! The fries contained the perfect amount of salt and crispness…you know when the ends have just a little extra oil and it adds to the taste😋However, nothing surpassed my expectations more than the service. One of the gentlemen offered to help carry my order to the car and held doors open. 120/10!! 😉“

“Date night!! Hubby had a double bacon cheeseburger and I had the crispy chicken blt. Shared fries and it took a few minutes to prepare but sooooo fresh!! My chicken was piping hot!! We will definitely come back 👍👍👍“

“The food is always constantly good here! Always a family favourite. They are EVEN SELLING HATS AND T-SHIRTS for just $20. My boyfriend wears the hat all the time. He says it’s a very comfortable good quality trucker hat. With an adjustable snap at the back of the hat. 💙🤍🍔“

“Ordered the steak on garlic bread and sautéed mushrooms. Came with shoestring fries. Asked for side of gravy. Spiced the meal to my liking. Service was good, though wasn’t asked at any point how my food was, tasted or if it was acceptable. Overall, it’s a sporty fun looking place to eat, and the food does appear quite appealing and flavourful. 3 out of 5 stars today.“

“Was passing by yesterday and tried a&w for the first time, hence, was a bit skeptical as my go to place is Burger King.
Got the spicy chicken burger on staff recommendation and it was amazing!
Will be coming here more often now that I have an idea about the taste.

“We wanted to support MS Day and thought we’d try the new A&W in Headingley…and I’m glad we did! The restaurant is lovely! And so clean! The staff was wonderful…even brought our lunches to the table. The food was delicious…hot + fresh. We even got A&W root beer suckers…doesn’t get much better than that. Honestly the nicest A&W we’ve ever been to and definitely worth the drive!“

“My son and I went to this location for their Kids Halloween FREE meal. My husband and I also got our dinner. It was CRAZY busy with line ups. The staff were absolutely Amazing! They handled the line up so well, on top of the Drive-thru orders. My Teen Burger was the BEST I have had in so long. Onion Rings were hot and my son loved his chicken meal. It could have been complete chaos but the front staff were smiling and on top of orders. This is the norm for this location and why we keep going back.“

“Best burgers in town and possibly the best burger I've ever had. Not a previously frozen patty like everyone's else's. These are hand pressed with seasoning. HUGE slabs of bacon, two kinds of cheeses. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. Just the burger is enough for a meal, if you add the fries, it's a meal for two people. These guys can make a burger. Hats off to them.“

“Overall good experience for fast food. Dining are is small but big windows allowing a lot of natural light is nice. No booths just chairs which is okay buy booths can be nice. Food was good just one hard kind of chewy spot in one of my sons chicken fingers but fries and my chubby chicken were all good fastfood quality.“

“When I was visiting this location earlier this week I was alone and some strange character approached me asking if I had any physical currency. Knowing this is a sketchy area at the time (it was shortly after 21:00) I respectfully denied the claim.
However, even with the A and W employee knowing that I did just pay for my purchase in cash to which he gave me $4.65 change he did not speak up. I am very grateful for A and W for making me feel safe in their establishment and would visit again.“

“Love, love, love, their burgers! They are best eaten fresh in the restaurant. If you take out or get delivery they are good but the buns have absorbed some of the burger juice and tend to fall apart. Their fries are delicious, crispy and so fresh! They are always so generous with servings that a small is plenty for 2 of us!“

“This place is awesome! Food was excellent, no mistakes made with our order. The manager walks around cleaning up and greet customers, ensuring satisfaction. We even received free frosty’s on this hot day. Over all establishment is beyond clean, inside and out, main area and bathrooms. Definitely NOT a “fast food joint” feel. 5/5!“

“I’ve had two family and friends celebratory dinner dinner here and I’ve never had any issues. The staff has always been extremely nice and pleasant and the atmosphere is always great. I like quiet areas. It was never too busy and the food was amazing. Also, the price of drinks are way better than anywhere else I’ve been in the city. Will be back to celebrate more with friends here soon for sure! Great for large get togethers!“

“Great Lil' Spot to Get some Good Grub. The Beef Dip was absolutely amazing on the Foccoscia bread BUT it's too soft for the Au Jus (just falls apart in a soggy mess and hard to handle) Definitely recommend toasting the bread longer and the Pierogies less (but that's just my opinion) They're a lil' hard on the teefers and like mine just slightly fried. Garlic Parm fries were a Unique upgrade but lacking Garlic Flavor & Value. Would be amazing vs ok with a Pinch more Parm. Atmosphere was Modern,Upgraded, and CLEAN. Loved the Huge Ferns and Cafe' aesthetic. Great Service!!! Drinks always Full. Would definitely come back to try other menu items. Menu has lots to Offer.“
