Immediate nipple erection. Full windshield defroster mode. The chili was so rich and seductive I considered whispering to it. The cheese dripped down the side like it was auditioning for a late-night commercial on adult cable. I bit in, and my soul briefly left my body and hovered above the Dairi-Wip parking lot, humming “Hallelujah.” By the third bite? I had a food boner. I’m not talking metaphorical excitement—I mean I was one more mouthful away from calling a doctor because things were happening. This is a local, Greek mom and pop owned fast food restaurant which offers a wide range of food from hamburgers, cheeseburgers, fat boys, subs, salads, and gyros to name a few. It’s a great place for home-cooked food and a great way to support local business. The staff is very friendly and the food is made to order. The prices are very reasonable as well. Plenty of seating on the inside for probably up to 50 or 60 people. Free parking is available. Definitely worth checking out!“

“Great little place! I'm quite lucky the last remaining Harvey's in my city is right outside my home. Harveys is a good fast food restaurant with great tasting food. Just maybe they would be popular again if they widened their choices more, like offering different bun choices (pretzel or brioche) more options of cheese like subway.
I do however have one little complaint and it's those crappy wooden spoons. Sporks come with longer prongs!!!!“

“I had a fabulous experience at LOCAL Public Eatery (Garry Street). My coworkers and I went in search of pub food (and drinks), and the LOCAL delivered. My burger, fries, and mocktail were great examples of the genre and the customer service was top-notch.

“Little Korea is a warm, family-run Korean restaurant just steps away from the University of Winnipeg's downtown campus. Every table is equipped with a tablet for ordering, which makes the experience smooth and convenient.

Cheese Tonkatsu: The star of our meal. The pork cutlet was golden and crispy on the outside, and loaded with gooey, melted cheese inside. It was indulgent and absolutely delicious.

Kimchi Jjigae: Served piping hot right to the table. The broth was traditional, deeply flavoured, and hit all the right notes of spice and tang. A comforting bowl of Korean home cooking.

The only minor note is that the rice portion could be a touch more generous. That aside, this is a fantastic little spot for authentic Korean food in downtown Winnipeg.“

They also sell hamburgers, fat boys, fries, poutine, hotdog and onion rings! The service is fast and friendly, and staff are very welcoming. The prices are very reasonable and there’s also free parking in addition to limited interior seating and a nice patio in the front. Great place to stop by if you’re looking for a cool treat on a warm summer day. I recommend.“
