“I had the pleasure of running across this quaint little ice cream shop, with a large selection of very tasty ice cream. It was the day we celebrated Pinawa Birthday. I wanted ice cream and later went back for coffee. Our party of three each ordered a different flavour and were delighted in taste testing each others. The ice cream was so good. We had to wait our turn in the line up but it was so worth it. I went by later for coffee and discovered they were supposed to be closed an hour before that but the happy customers kept coming so she made us our lattes. There was a group of Police man after us and Julia happily served them after us. I loved the ice cream, I loved the passionate and friendly service and the lattes were very tasty. It’s nice to see a small town business being run with such care, compassion to stay over time and such a tasty selection. If you haven’t tried it yet… GO. I will be back. 😊😊😊“

“I just want to slap myself for not trying this place sooner! I just made up my mind that today was going to be the day and I am so happy I did. I was greeted with a warm welcome which is always nice to experience. I love burgers and had to try the fat boy. Oh goodness, I think that was one of the best burgers I have ever had. Yep, could definitely slap myself for not stopping by before today. I will definitely be back and will tell all my friends.“

“This Dairy Queen is pretty decent. However, I noticed an inconsistency with the quality of ice cream compared to other Dairy Queens. I don’t know if it’s just because it was once a seasonal location. But I do notice it doesn’t seem as consistent with larger locations. I do frequent it often though. It’s a great summer spot.“

Not only did they look amazing, they tasted amazing and are fairly big. we ordered a week ahead and they were ready on time as promised. “I've loved Dairy Queen's ice cream treats since I was a kid and, unlike many other products, Dairy Queen's quality has not declined over the past few decades. This location has an adjacent parking lot and picnic tables in front. You go inside to order (no drive through). Staff are friendly anf efficient, so don't be dissuaded by a line because I found that the line moves quickly.“

“Neon Cone is a delightful ice cream shop nestled inside the Forks Market, and it was a highlight of our visit. The staff were friendly and enthusiastic — on their recommendation, I got the caramel chocolate dip, and it was absolutely the right call. “I stopped by St. James Burger & Chip Co. for a burger and fries, and the portion of fries blew me away—in the best way. I chose the cayenne seasoning and loved it. I also went with the burger recommendation, which was delicious. The whole combo hit the spot.

This is a takeout spot, with a couple of outdoor tables if you want to eat there. Otherwise, plan to take your food with you or eat in your car. Highly recommend it if you’re in Winnipeg!“

“Upon entering the diner, you see the decor. The retro vibe is a nice touch. The diner was very clean and bright.

The staff was very welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and polite.

Although the diner was busy, our order was provided in a timely manner.

The food ordered included the onion supreme burger, a black cherry float, a strawberry milkshake and a smash burger bowl. All were prepared to perfection. All were cooked correctly; every vegetable was fresh.

We will be returning to sample other items from the menu.
