“Never even knew this place existed, are the Iranian owners new?? Always thought it was some greasy diner. Great food, we all had burgers, hearty patties, very filling and tasty. Shakes are thick and delicious. Can't wait to come back for breakfast and make our way through the rest of the menu.“
“I ate dinner at Good Lands Cafe for the first time in June 2022 and it definitely won’t be my last time here! Good Lands is an all vegan, Middle Eastern inspired cafe with gluten free options (three bowls) and the food was incredible. It’s a simple and casual place with seating inside. The owner was friendly and welcoming and he cooked everything from scratch. I ordered the Medley Bowl, which had spiced eggplant, falafel, Lima beans, spiced lentils, on a bed of lettuce with tomatoes and pickled cabbage, and topped with various sauces. The flavours were so unique and tasty! Plus, you can’t beat those prices. Where else can you get a satisfying home cooked meal for $10?! I can’t wait to eat here again and would recommend to anyone looking for amazing Middle Eastern food!“
“The yummiest gluten free, vegan breakfast sandwich EVER!!! Comfort food yet healthy, doesn't get better than this place. Owners and atmosphere makes you feel right at home which is a plus too. Delicious, healthy vegan soups. Awesome, homemade desserts. Can't make it for the price!!! Generous portions.Vegetarian options: Sooo deliciousDietary restrictions: Gluten freeVegan“
“They made the dessert table for our wedding and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The consultation process was great, they sent over a tasting box delivered to our door and then they tailor made the table exactly how we wanted to fit our theme. On top of that it was all delicious! Everyone raved about how beautiful and tasty our desserts were. We also opted to use their Bake the World a Better Place cookies for our wedding favours as the local charity was one that really spoke to us and everyone loved their cookie to take home knowing the proceeds all went to a good cause. Plus it was all vegan and nut free, which just couldn't be beat for our wedding and nothing was dry at all. Would definitely recommend them for your wedding needs!“
“I have always admired Winnipeg architecture ?The Modern Electric Lunch is a trendy Winnipeg Breakfast & Lunch spot in the heart of Winnipeg in one of the original old brick industrial type buildings; the perfect spot to join friends or family for a great breakfast or lunch. From the contracting beautifully old exterior and modern interior, the tile artwork featuring downtown Winnipeg, large windows bringing in the morning light and the amazing food, everything complimented each other. The food was fresh and delicious ?The chorizo hash was on a bed of refried beans offering a uniqueness I've yet to have but was splendid. The eggs benedict was gorgeous and it too tasted phenomenal. We saw the sour dough toast at a neighboring table and had to have it. It came with an earl grey fig jam that was to die for.Service was pleasant and attentive. We will definitely be back.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!“
“a cozy, quaint café! their seasonal white chocolate rose matcha latte is amazing i could inject it in my bloodstream tbh. they have stamp cards like at bbt places, which is really cute. there's also a variety of coffee beans, syrups, and tea for sale as well as seasoning salt, chili oil, and frozen dumplings from Aroma Bistro. will come again 10/10 :)“
“Great teamwork from the staff to make sure the community is always known of what’s going on. The staff make sure you feel welcome and like you are in a safe place not only for you but for your child as well. When I lived on Edison ave I would take my dog with me and they always provided a water bowl for him. I loved going there as it was an easy walk for me to handle. I’d love to live back in that area to be able to go back to scout. I also know they do a lot of stuff with Heathers Pretty Parties so that makes it an even cooler place to go to with kids! I can’t wait to be able to take my niece there!“
“Food and drinks were great and at a reasonable price. You get a free craft to do after you're finished in the cat room as well. My only issue is that the cafe part is very crowded, theres not much room in between tables. Other than that, I had a great time here!“
“Ambience was very welcoming, staff were very friendly and helpful. I ordered a cappuccino, almond croissant and apple danish and they were delicious. They also have coffee beans that are roasted locally! If I lived close to this area, I would probably be here daily.“
“This is a very good cafe in Winnipeg. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is, admittedly, very silly. For some reason I don't feel comfortable staying in and having coffee there. It might be the parking, or my association with Mas and visiting the hospital but I always feel cold and rushed there. I can't put my finger on why, but I have to trust my Spidey sense. The coffee is always amazing but it's not as warm and inviting as other spots in the city. Maybe it's decor? I couldn't say exactly; but it's still absolutely worth visiting.“
“I've worked as a pizzaiolo for three years mainly woodfire. I ferment and have been making my own sourdough for the same amount of time. Just ordered and devoured the vegan seasonal pizza! Amazing place, quality, and ethos. love this place.“
“As an egg benedict enthusiast, kudos to their Hollandaise sauce!! It's buttery, creamy, savoury together with the golden toasted bread and mortardella. Everything was so yum ???.You have to give their raspberry matcha latte a try as well!!!! I was hesitant to order it at first, but my server convinced me to try. And it did not disappoint!!! The fruity and floral smell of raspberry compliments the earthy flavour of matcha so well!!!The only reason I gave 4 stars only would be their thorough flavour profile of all the dishes is savory while I prefer a variety of flavors personally. So if you enjoy an elevated version of your classic dishes rather than a twisted one, you have to give them a try!!Will be back in the future to try more!“
“It's a cute store and has a lot of neat little items. A little annoying that so many require assistance to purchase, but that's life I guess.Feels more like an experience than it does a store, which is part of the charm in my opinion.“
“As I did not have time in the AM to get to the bakery before 1 PM, I called with my order and they were able to set it aside ( even though their stock was limited)When I arrived, I was greeted by pleasant servers who filled my order and more.Oh yes and their pastries are amazing.“
“I love the atmosphere here. The coffee is great & consistent. I enjoy the natural lighting and high ceilings so much. It makes for a great place to sit down, read, study, journal, look around at the houseplants or just drink coffee while relaxing. Great place to stay off your phone tbh! ?“
“Great, healthy on-the-go options! I’m often on the road for work and find it hard to find healthy “fast food” so this is a new favourite spot for me. They prepared my salad and smoothie within minutes and they were both delicious and filling.“
“Me and my sister went here over the summer. The lady at the counter (one of the co-owners) was so friendly and professional! My sister tried the strawberry rhubarb crumble (which she adored!) and the funfetti. I also tried the funfetti along with the salted caramel crunch. The funfetti flavour is the best birthday cake ice cream we've ever had. It includes actual chunks of birthday cake! I loved the salted caramel crunch as well. The space was fairly small but still warm and inviting, and featured a delightful wall covered in photos of adorable dogs. Highly recommend!“
“I really love this place, the soups are always why I keep coming back. The Hungarian, borsh, mushroom, peas.. and so on, they are all delicious. I often order a liter to go to eat later. Their pastries are amazing, the carrot cakes and date bars are ma favorites. Their imperial cookies are quite big. Sometimes it is hard to get a place to sit or parking since the entire parking it says for that private club place. But even when the place is full, you can still have a good conversation with your friends without yelling like at some other coffee places.“
“This place is great! The location is not hard to find or park near if you go on the weekend. The place is very cozy, has a wonderful hole-in-the-wall feel, and the food is amazing. They change their menu every week, with some common themes like an eggs benedict selection for the weekends. The bread they bake is to die for, probably the best I have ever had! I also appreciated the non-alcoholic mimosa options, and the apple pie mimosa was super tasty. The service was prompt and super friendly, and I can't wait to go back.“
“Mr Ralph Carico is a key piece of business, I invested 1btc with him on my trading account and he managed it so well, I could not have a better partner to manage such a large number of money All the support he gave is sensational, Contact him Ralph Carico“
“This is an absolutely delightful local coffee shop. The atmosphere is super quaint and cozy with couches and good coffee and pastries. Hosts a delightful open mic night on the last Friday of each month. The owner Allison is an absolute gem. Love this place!“
“Bambi and Demi have made my last 3 visits amazing. Customer service is great and they remembered me and wanted to ensure everything was correct even when we all knew it was my fault. They were kind and gracious and this absent-minded mom just needed that. Will be back often! Thank you Bambi and Demi!!!“
“Stopped by just to check it out and ordered a pork bun and a latte. Pork bun was very tasty and also cute - had a little nose, eyes, and ears. The pork filling was absolutely delicious and the bun itself was soft and tasty. My latte was very creamy and smooth. They also had a cute assortment of plushes, stickers, and other novelty items. Only downside was that their cooler seemed to have been out of order and some of the selections like the cucumber and salmon sandwich were unavailable - hopefully it'll be back up soon! I will definitely be visiting again sometime soon.“
“Love the design and atmosphere, it's definitely one of a datenight place. Love the flight latte, well portion food and presentation was also good. Server was very attentive and informative. Definitely will be coming back, so much so that I told to my son to apply there ?“
“Cute and cozy coffee shop. Staff was friendly and spoke French, which was great. The handcrafted maple latte and chocolate croissant were to die for!I wish they were open later in the evening as they are one of a few that are laptop and student friendly.“
“The desserts are fantastic in my own options. They do offer a great selection to satisfy your craving and sweet tooth. They do offer sandwiches to which I will like to try when I have more free time on my hands to grab one and they look delicious ?“
“Come here often between transfers on my way to work. Staff is always friendly, and I really appreciate that when it's busy they let me know things might take a few extra minutes, so I never miss my bus.Typically get the breakfast sandwiches and a white mocha, which are always amazing (I love that they use farmer sausage for the sausage one), but my one true love here is the apple cheesecake bar. The apple pie to apple cheesecake flavour ratio is superb.“
“Discovered this place several years ago when I stopped in for a coffee on the way to the lake. I have made a point of stopping in periodically. I would certainly be a more regular customer but I live quite far away. The coffee is good and the staff friendly every time I have been there. Great atmosphere and if you're lucky you can grab one of the soft chairs at the back near the fireplace for a quiet conversation, reading a book or checking your device. What a great spot on a cold winter's day!“
“Excellent croissants! The very best I have ever eaten. I have tried most of their menu items but I will keep going back to the Nutella croissant. I even had some of my friends try and now we drive for upwards od half an hour on the weekends to enjoy these croissant and a nice warm cup of coffee!“
“Little Sister Coffee is our go-to place now that we live on Roslyn Rd. The coffee there is great. We are getting to know most of the severs who are very polite and very attentive. In addition yo "going for coffee," we also by the Instrumental blend coffee beans for home! We love that it is a "local " place. We wish they had a few more tables and chsirs inside.“
“It was a wonderful experience- They offer what I feel are the best chocolate zucchini loaf, red beet with coconut muffin that I ever tasted. And, I especially enjoyed their decaf coffee ☕️ ☕️☕️☕️☕️ <- They get 5 coffee cups (stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)“
“Salisbury House has been a part of my life since I was a child. Since moving to South Winnipeg, the Stafford Steet Sals has been my go-to location. Great food and specials, as well as a seniors menu. The decor includes some famous Winnipeg musician items that adds a uniqueness to the space. The pancakes have always been my favorite item, as well as the egg nips and coleslaw.“
“The Double Dare cake is amazing, and we also love the rum balls. Staff is always kind and helpful. We have been visiting them for many years when they were previously known as “Pastry Castle”, and they have always been consistently very good!“
“My friend had a charity concert in his son’s honour at this wonderful little venue. All of the staff was fantastic. The bartenders were friendly and attentive, and the security was some of nicest I’ve ever met. The name is perfect for the vibe this place gives off, Good Will.“
“I read on my news wall that this institution was closing in April. I remembered my first visit to Mitzi's way back in 2004 during lunchtime. I had a combo with breaded shrimp and chicken fingers and a Coke. I went for lunch visit, and they were closed to restock for tonight. No worries and waited. A few hours later, there's no queue, great. It was bone-chilling windy outside. A suitable wait and final visit. Only take out for service.“
“I had the most friendly and helpful server at your location on Academy on 2 different Friday nights. I was slightly overwhelmed with the options and she had great suggestions. Her and her coworker were so kind and obviously were a great team. Beautiful art on my coffee and amazing pastries. Will definitely be back“
“Great food, great service and a nice atmosphere. I like this location because it's very spacious and bright and the staff are very friendly and efficient. It's a great place to sit back, relax and have a really good meal. Comfort food at its best.“
“I went to to Harrison’s for the first time while out on a nice walk with my friend and her dog. We had wanted to stop for a coffee and noticed the little shop on Waterfront. Not only was the Coffee great but they were a pet friendly establishment and provided water outside for them to have a drink as well. I’m a forever customer now.“
“A quaint coffee roaster confidently located near many tourist attractions in the heart of Winnipeg. The coffee was hot, the food was fresh and we truly enjoyed it finding on an early morning brisk walk. I was introduced to my first "Pro-nut," a donut made with protein that my daughter enjoyed.“
“This is a friendly neighbourhood coffee shop with a wide variety of hot and cold drinks and great baked treats from a local bakery. I do meet friends there for coffee but my favourite thing is to take a book and enjoy some me-time. They have a small, but functional patio area in the good weather and the added awning this summer ear made it even better. They also sell unique, local items that make good gifts.“
“Starbucks consistently delivers a bustling yet inviting atmosphere. Despite the busy ambiance, their service remains top-notch. The friendly and efficient staff at Starbucks make every visit enjoyable, ensuring orders are handled promptly with a welcoming demeanor. Whether it's a quick coffee on the go or a relaxing moment in the busy environment, the excellent service and amiable employees create a positive and enjoyable experience.Parking: In front of the cafe. Plenty of spots available when i went there.“
“The only place I'll get my freshly roasted coffee beans. Great coffee, great service, very fine tasting coffee I've recommended Black Pearl to friends and too many others who appreciates a great cup of coffee made from fresh coffee “
“08/02/2023. Hadn’t ?n to San Vito for a while. The atmosphere is very relaxing a great place to meet friends, which is what l was doing. The staff are exceptional and customer focussed. The prices are also goodSince I am not a coffee or tea drinker I ordered hot water and a cinnamon bun.The only thing that was not perfect was the cinnamon bun was doughy. The friend I was meeting mentioned the doughy cinnamon burin also.Yes I will be back. San Vito is a local GEM.Wheelchair accessibility: The front entrance is large and will accommodate a wheelchair.“
“I’ve been here twice! Once alone and another time with friends. I’m not a huge coffee drinker but I do love myself a hot drink. The first time I went there I felt a bit intimidated with the barista and a little rushed so I bought a pastry and walked out as fast as I could. The second time was a bit more pleasant, I ordered a white hot chocolate and a croissant to enjoy inside. The white hot chocolate was okay and could’ve used more sweetness but the croissant was great and would buy again. The barista this time was very nice and patient with us and even recommended his fav drink to my friend when he asked. And the space is simple yet beautiful. ☺️“
“Not much space to eat inside when they are busy but they have a nice patio. Could just use a couple more places to sit. Otherwise excellent.Dietary restrictions: Quite a few dairy free options.Wheelchair accessibility: Semi steep, definitely narrow ramp up to the patio and entrance“
“Chatime on Pembina is my favourite Bubble Tea place. I LOVE their Mango QQ! I have taken friends and family there. My cousin had bubble tea for the first time this weekend. The employee happily and patiently answered all of her questions and made recommendations. She loved the Peach Green Tea with coconut jelly that he recommended. I will be trying that one next!Dietary restrictions: There are caffeine free and dairy free options.Parking: Strip mall parking“
“If you are looking for a variety of great tasting fresh roasted coffee, served by a staff that is both personable and friendly and who clearly enjoy where they work, I highly recommend the Thom Bargen Coffee Roasters at 64 Sherbrooke St. Naturally there is a cost for the coffee, but the variety of eclectic background music and the warm atmosphere are free.“
“Fast, Friendly, and Flavorful . Need I say morel... I had the breakfast special. You are paying way too much otherwise if you are not having some type of special during breakfast or during lunch/supper... Prices have really skyrocketed at Sals in the past couple of years, and yet they are closing restaurants down or not renovating restaurants that are in need of renovation...“
“Feels like coming home when we dine here. Staff is so friendly, attentive and welcoming…. And the food is delicious… especially the ChickenSteak Deluxe! We have taken a number of friends and family to Sam's at various times and the staff has made it special for each one of our guests. My 7 year old granddaughter says she feels like a celebrity when she's at Sam's.“
