“Airport food. You expect to pay a lot, and feel lucky if it's passable. This restaurant does charge the normal airport premium but not outrageous, but have a look at these salads. They do shout that the kitchen cares about how things look, and they tasted every bit as good. A salad like this is just what you want when you want nutrition and feeling satisfied, without the extra turbulence you get in your stomach from burgers and the like.“

“Sat outside so it was decently quiet, but if we were inside it would have been too loud. Food and drinks came relatively quickly which was very nice, and our server Jenny was lovely. Tasted great, only downside was it rained a bit, otherwise very nice.“

“I just had the ham and mushroom pizza. Best I ever had. It was very reasonably priced with very good ingredients. Bread was so fresh and was so tasty. Same type of pizza you would pay double at a 5 star restaurant. Their baked goods are also amazing and fresh. The service is very good and very helpful.“

“Stopped in on a Tuesday evening looking for a quiet spot to edit some shots, and Café Postal ended up being exactly what I needed. The light inside is genuinely beautiful - warm and diffused in a way that made me want to just shoot the whole interior instead of my laptop screen. I ordered a latte and some kind of mushroom toast that was way better than I expected from a weeknight menu. The staff left me alone to work but were friendly when I needed a refill, which is honestly the perfect balance.“

“The best Benedict I've ever had in the city by far. The dill cream cheese slathered on the toasted English muffin and farm-fresh, deep orange, jammy eggs with the not-too-fishy salmon, topped with homemade (not powdered) Hollandaise sauce, and perfectly seasoned hash browns were out of this world. My sister really enjoyed the homemade prickly pear artisanal ice tea. They serve brunch on Saturdays untill 4 p.m. Excellent service.“

First impressions of early am visit was spacious, clean and thoughtful gifts items. Workers were cheerful, knowledgeable and quick. Several spaces to sit and work. Background music was pleasant - not too loud. “A place to belong” is their motto. Tips are used to support /encourage young people in a safe environment. I’m just a tourist - but I’d come here every day if I could.“

“Sat outdoors on this very hot day. My group had a wonderful time. I had their Burger Jardin. I loved it. Always enjoy trying different veggie burgers but this one was different and soooo good. The patty was chickpea-based and tasted like a falafel burger. The burger was well dressed with delicious condiments. The sides were awesome home roasted home fries and great creamy coleslaw. The highlight though was an awesome server by the lovely name of Patience, She is bright, witty, perfectly discrete in her timing while waiting on us. Seriously, we will ask to be seated at one of her tables next time. Patience is an asset to Stella’s au CCFM.“

“Christopher was my server today and he was excellent. Fast, efficient, warm, polite, couldn’t have asked for more. The food was also delicious (I always order the grand veg). I sometimes switch the eggs for their grilled tofu (which is super addictive, crunchy outside and soft inside, highly recommend).“

“Our second favorite place to go to in Winnipeg after the Zoo. My family and I enjoy walking through the English Garden and around the park, especially around the duck pond. But we often end our walk at the park cafe. They serve really good breakfast and pub fares at an affordable price. Plus, if you have a zoo membership, you get 10% off your bill. The park cafe also has a walkin counter that offers softserve ice cream and a really good,I mean really good, mint lemonade. You should definitely take your loved ones to this exceptional place and enjoy life, simply.“

“I recently found out about this bakery and something told me not to hesitate ordering even though I had no idea what anything tasted like! I recently went gluten, dairy and soy free, I ordered a mixed berry pie, chicken pot pie, sourdough cinnamon buns, oatmeal raisin cookies, sourdough bread and sourdough hamburger buns.. the cookies.. to die for, the sourdough bread.. it’s killing me how delish it is.. and everything else looks so yummy I’m trying hard to space it out so I don’t put myself in a food coma. “It's a quiet space over the summer months. I've had their Reuben before and it great. But if you are coming by for soup and borscht is their soup of the day, get it. It was a revelation. Generous, tangy, spicy, sweet. Best borscht I've had in the city. A hidden gem.“

“I went to to Harrison’s for the first time while out on a nice walk with my friend and her dog. We had wanted to stop for a coffee and noticed the little shop on Waterfront. Not only was the Coffee great but they were a pet friendly establishment and provided water outside for them to have a drink as well. I’m a forever customer now.“
