The city could use more corner stores, especially ones like this where they are filled with tasty things.
The tiny store looks super cute. The products inside were all locally made. I came for the crunchy chili garlic because I was gifted that a fee years ago and I just recently learned where it was bought. Will come back for mor. Maybe to try the other products. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Black Market Provisions is a lovely little shop and a Winnipeg gem. It is small but packed with all sorts of goodies, filled with gourmet food items alongside unique, whimsical, and cool gifts. The shop sells a variety of housemade soups, salads, and baked goods from its prepared foods case, with everything clearly indicated as GF or vegan. Great options include curried chicken salad, egg salad, potato salad, beer & cheddar soup, and an easy dinner. For dessert, the homemade ice-cream is all coconut-based, with the Thai-Phoon flavour being an incredible mix of ginger, lemongrass, and coconut. The strawberry trifle is also amazing. Their cookies are the bomb, especially the vegan chocolate chip sea salt cookie and the chocolate chunk cookie. Don't forget to grab fancy chili oil, crispy garlic, or the renowned Black Market Crunch chili crisp to jazz up meals. The shop is dog-friendly and the staff are super friendly, warm, and appreciated. This place is a must visit.
