Friendly service and great food!
I stop by every time I’m in the area.
They consistently cook good food year after year.
Serve homemade food!
Chicken strips were heavily crusted & meat was hard. Mushroom soup was watery. We arrived about 1330 & after orders taken waited at least 45 min before food arrived. Server was pleasant but food was very disappointing!
You guys are sooooo amazing! Saturday I wanted to grab a late breakfast for my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day (we celebrated early). I ordered the chicken and waffles for him and beet latkes for me. When I arrived for pick up the staff were so pleasant. I asked if they would write happy Valentine’s Day on my boyfriends meal. They did that and also wrote it on the bag. Based on the reviews, The Oakwood Café 4.0 is a cute little spot with nice decor. The food is excellent, delicious, and homemade, like mom would make. The meatloaf is perfection, and the chicken waffle poutine is a favorite. Specific meals mentioned include the Johans Club and French Fries, blueberry french toasts, and eggs Benny. Their breakfast sausages are gluten free, and the fry sauce is a nice touch. Portions are more than adequate, and prices are more than reasonable. The service is great, with a friendly, outgoing waitress and polite, professional interaction. The front staff person is really nice, and the coffee was always full. A group who meets monthly for breakfast will definitely be back.
