“Delicious undeniable food, especially for vegeterian!
My problem, and my groups problem is always the wait time. It seems as if only one person works the till, and the kitchen every-time we visit. It sometimes takes 25-35 minutes to get your food, which wastes a lot of your lunch hour.
I still recommend, but I will say order ahead!!
Also Bodegoes, please give the man a raise and hire more people!!!“

“Have not been to the Oakwood for several year but still had the same great food and attentive staff. I decided on the chicken and waffles and it was delish! Topped with two over hard eggs, white gravy and syrup and sprinkled with chorizo sausage. Lots of flavours; sweet and spicy and textures crispy and soft and pillowy it all came together wonderfully. It did not look like a lot of food but I was more than satisfied and I’d definitely have again but I need to try some other entrees.“

“Enjoyed lunch for two today. The authentic, house made Italian food did not disappoint … it was a feast for the senses! Our server Jasmine was outstanding - attentive and was a great ambassador for the eatery. Portions were generous and we have leftovers to enjoy tomorrow. If you are out shopping and looking for a relaxing place to enjoy a tastey lunch (or dinner) this is your place! Lots of parking - located directly across from St Vital Centre.“

“My husband and I took our two children to Joey's yesterday for supper, and everything was terrific! The food, service, and atmosphere were all wonderful. They had no kids for the kids cups, so the waitress provided us with an extra cup for our 2-year-old, so that I was able to give him just a little at a time. Every employee there seemed to really enjoy there job, and it really made a positive difference. Thank you Joey's for a great supper!“

“Always a classic place to go out for some spaghetti and drinks! Their salad is one of my absolute favourites and I think about it often. The gluten-free rotini is just okay - I wish there were some more sauce options or ways to spice it up. The yummy drinks make up for it though.

“This is the St. Boniface Golf Club bar and grill, which is open to the public. It is a casual seated restaurant with some bar seating as well. There is a lovely second storey outdoor patio overlooking the Seine River and the 18th hole. We stopped in for our first lunch of the season on the patio. Very interesting regular menu this year, with a number of weekly specials as well. Executive chef Ian Wong always does a good job (in the restaurant as well as weddings and banquets). My husband had the KFC sandwich - Korean Fried Chicken tossed in Red Dragon Sauce, topped with creamy kimchi slaw. I had the Teriyaki Salmon, Avocado and Crab Salad Wrap. Both were delicious, as were the crispy sweet potato fries. We'll have to get back and try some of the other items. Service was prompt and pleasant. There is lots of free parking in the attached parking lot.“

“Our elementary school did a Fun Lunch today catered by Freshii and it was a hit! The food arrived clearly labelled, organized by class, and very fresh. The Supervisor Dilpreet was absolutely wonderful and accommodated special orders and requests. I give this location my highest recommendation and can't wait to order from them again! They are a delicious option for school Fun Lunches, office catering, and individual orders!

“I'm a regular customer and have enjoyed many decent meals from this location. The quality has been consistent and portions reasonable. It's pricier fare but the quality of food is top notch. For someone who doesn't have a lot of time to cook, Freshii is a reasonably healthy alternative to traditional fast food. Mexican food is NOT the first thing that comes to mind when thinking Freshii but it has to be said.. Their most recent limited time offering of soft Tacos (3pk) are incredibly tasty and fresh. I have yet to find something comparable at even an exclusively Mexican restaurant. I hope they keep these on the menu!“

“I've been coming here for 30+ years. Compared to some places the prices are a bit steep, but the food is good, really good. One of the best places to eat in general on Campus. I know that's not saying much these days, but it is still a nice place serving good food“

“Never had anything but great experiences at this location. Staff are friendly, professional, and get subs made quickly and to order. Bathrooms are always spotless. Almost every time I've came in I've seen the manager(?), who is always visible and making sure everything is clean and running smoothly. Not often you see that at chain restaurants like this. I will continue to stop at this location when I am in the area!“
