Moving on to the main course, the Tuscan Salmon was A+. The salmon was cooked to perfection, and the combination of turmeric rice, creme fraiche, sundried tomato, capers, garlic, and marinated tomato added layers of flavours that were both refreshing and comforting. “Nicolino's is one of our favourite restaurants because of their consistency to offer delicious food and attentive service. Portion sizes are generally very good, but the side salads and breadsticks seem to be getting smaller! I have been dining here since it was a Sorrento's location. The warm breadsticks were always a big draw, but last night they were barely there! I also do not recommend the salmon if you have a hearty appetite. It is tasty enough, but the portion size is quite small. The Chicken Parmigiana and the Lasagna are both very satisfying portions. I had the spinach cannelloni and it was also very good. Pizza and salad combo is always good too! Atmosphere is good, but sometimes a little on the noisy side. When making a reservation, make sure to specify to be seated in the restaurant or you may find yourself dining in the lounge.“

“Was my first time in. When I go to an Italian restaurant for the first time I usually opt for spaghetti and meatballs. Might seem the safe choice but in my opinion if you can’t do a good sauce with a simple meatball then you can’t do the rest well either. The meatballs lived up to the claim of made in house. These are not mass produced meatballs. They were not that close, so packed texture that mass produced can have. These were a delicate mixture of beef, veal and pork, well seasoned and not noticeably heavy in fillers. The best meatballs I can recall having. The pasta is house made also and was topped with a tangy tomato sauce. In all it was a great meal but I’m sad I was too full for desert. My friend had the French dip and the top sirloin sandwich was a hit with her. We were served by a vivacious young woman, Diana F, who ensured we had a wonderful dining experience. I would definitely recommend trying this restaurant, thanks to great food and great service, and will be back.“

It would be nice to have a small plate of bread for the table at the start of the meal. “We went on St Patrick's around 1pm. The parking lot was full but the lounge was quite empty. Our server was really nice, very accommodating and checked on us often. They also added the bread knots That were so fresh and warm. The Greek salad was delicious. It had a good amount of feta- the chicken was seasoned and cubed perfectly. The olive oil was rich, this salad was perfect. The eggplant Was covered in delicious marinara sauce and melted cheese. From a professional stand point she missed a few things, but they were minor. Her friendliness made up for that.My friend invited me to dine with him because he wanted to do the chefs table for 4.The price point was very reasonable for the amount of food served.There were 2 appetizers, 2 entrees (served family style), individual desserts.I'm not a big fan of bruschetta but their version I would give a 5 star for flavor.The arancini balls were a 4 star for me.The chicken dish was delicious and I would order that again. It was off the menu item but is often a feature item we were told. 5 stars.The pasta dish was a bit too al dente for my friends though I thought it was fine. Overall that pasta dish was a 4 for me. You'll have to refer to my pictures since I didn't get the names of all the dishes that night.DessertsFor the desserts I was told the espresso martini was delicious. Too sweet for some, but if you love sweet alcoholic caffeine, this is all your vices in one. (I did not try this one) the consensus was the flavor was outstanding.I had the chocolate cake which was a beautiful piece. 4.5 starThe chocolate gelato was also a 4 star.The canoli was mixed reviews. I give it a 4 star. I actually don't like canolis but I didn't mind it. I think I would eat it had I not been so full. I did have some at the table that didn't enjoy it though.Parking was street parking which is free. Thursday night they weren't busy so we did not have any issues. Not a usual combo, but it worked well.Spring rolls aren't something I'd normally order (they're often quite plain), but these ones are different and tasty. Worth a try for sure.Bruschetta again can sometimes be fairly ordinary, but this one was really good because it contained more than the normal ingredients.The mixed green salad was fine - not anything spectacular, although the dressing was quite good - but hey, it's a mixed green salad.Prices are on the higher side for the starters, but the entrees are reasonable for what you get (the fett chile for example is a good portion for the price).Service was attentive and friendly, and she had good suggestions.
