“I honestly have the foodie blues this morning after an incredible meal at Passero last night. I wish I could eat there all the time, because my tastebuds never stopped dancing the entire meal. Each new plate was exciting and had me doing a little dance in my seat with my eyes rolled back. The ricotta toast just melted in your mouth with warm and fresh flavours. The tuna was a fresh surprise with the passionfruit and chips adding a punch to make it really exciting. The tagliatelle browned butter and blackened garlic dish had us wanting to lick the plate clean if it was acceptable. Honestly the whole experience was fantastic. We finished it off with the lemon mascarpone cheese cheesecake with a lavender butterscotch sauce that was mindblowing. Never had such a smooth, creamy cheesecake. 10/10 recommend“

Our dinner service was phenomenal! Né de loup has very unique dishes with amazing flavours. We had the leek confit (get this, it was probably the most unique dish I’ve had in Manitoba), the beef tartare (this one wins for my favourite dish of the night), the red tuna (absolute perfection) and the rabbit gnocchi (one of the best gnocchis I’ve had in the city).

The small restaurant provides a more personal dinner experience and the chef timed the dishes perfectly (no rush, gave us time to chat, etc). Né de loup easily made it into my top 5 restaurants in the city!“

“Everything about this restaurant was great except that it's very small so it becomes very noisy. It might depend on who's dining beside you because the tables are quite close together, but we actually had trouble hearing each other across the table.“

“AMAZING food and service here. All the staff were extremely inviting , helpful and even go the extra mile with their service. Would 11/10 recommend. For four people , 4 starters, 5 entrees and 3 desserts the pricing was really good and reasonable for the quality of service and food! The staff are also very personable. They even greeted us by last name and thanked us for calling to see if they had a table (we last minute booked and they had a last minute cancellation). 100% go here with some friends . there is a parking garage next door (yes you have to pay) but you don’t have to worry much about the lovely downtown street parking because of that too. “First off, Julia was a great server! Everything was timed flawlessly, and she took great care of us tonight! We tried some pasta, a couple pizzas, and a couple appys. Everything tasted great and wasn’t overpriced!

There was something that my friend and I witnessed tonight that was pretty awful to see. A woman and a man that was apart of a family group was yelling at a server and causing a disturbance. In fact, the same group left 2 reviews , they are some of the newest reviews below this one in case anyone is curious. It’s humorous that he can add the server’s name, but then fails to name the “accommodation” the restaurant couldn’t fulfill. Embarrassing !!! Do better next time Peter & Karen :)

“First time at Cibo. I was really impressed by the venue itself. It's a beautiful little secret right on the River. Our evening view was picturesque. Colorful fall leaves, a view of the Human Rights Museum and the rail bridge made it perfect. Drinks were fantastic and the food was excellent. Server was friendly and helpful. Its location is very convenient, as it’s situated on the first floor near the airport entrance. They offer both whole pizzas and individual slices, which are perfect if you’re craving something quick before a flight.
