“I can see why this place is tough to get into! It was our first time trying it, we could only get a reservation at 8:30pm and now I know why. The food was phenomenal, every dish was delicious and even though some of the ingredients seemed weird on their own, together with the other components worked amazingly well. We were with someone with dietary restrictions and the server went out of her way to have a menu prepared at the table with all of the dishes checked off that they could and could not eat. It was such a welcoming atmosphere, loud but still cozy.
We ordered way more than the recommended 6-8 dishes for a group of 4 and we were stuffed! Some of my favourite dishes were the ricotta toast, the arancini, the burata, the Brussels sprouts, the tuna carpaccio, the beef tartar, the short rib and the tagliatelle. I want to go back again today just for that beef tartar and short rib! They were definitely the highlights of the night for me.

If you haven’t tried Passero yet, you MUST go. I can’t wait to go back and I’m mad at myself that I waited so long to go in the first place!“

“AMAZING food and service here. All the staff were extremely inviting , helpful and even go the extra mile with their service. Would 11/10 recommend. For four people , 4 starters, 5 entrees and 3 desserts the pricing was really good and reasonable for the quality of service and food! The staff are also very personable. They even greeted us by last name and thanked us for calling to see if they had a table (we last minute booked and they had a last minute cancellation). 100% go here with some friends . there is a parking garage next door (yes you have to pay) but you don’t have to worry much about the lovely downtown street parking because of that too. “I am not one to write reviews very often. On a whim, I took my daughter to OG on a busy friday evening. We were seated within 5 minutes. Then came along our server. His name was Abdullah T.
So polite, kind, understanding, caring and most importantly patient. My daughter is 11 and she is very shy. He made her experience so so great. I was super impressed with how he handled her shyness. By the end, he had her smiling and showing pictures of our cat. He insisted on boxing our food for us. 100/100. Thank you so much for such a wonderful dining experience! I hope that everyone has the pleasure of having Abdullah as their server!!!!!“

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.
We ordered the Chicken & Gnocchi soup, Shrimp Alfredo, Tour of Italy, lemonade, and for dessert — Chocolate Lasagna and Sicilian Cheesecake. Everything was delicious, with generous portion sizes and great presentation.
The Sicilian Cheesecake truly deserves a special mention — incredibly soft, delicate, and full of flavor. The aftertaste is simply unforgettable and hard to put into words. One of the best cheesecakes we’ve ever had!
The service was excellent — fast, friendly, and very attentive.

“We had the Familiglia Meal for four. It was a lot of food. Some was too spicy for my friends pallettes but it was perfect for mine. Loved the variety and show casing of Mediterranean food. The squid 🦑 chips were great with the Tuna Carpaccio!!

The service was truly wonderful — the staff were attentive, polite, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the evening. As vegetarians, we were so happy to see good veg options available for us.

The atmosphere is really nice, there are a lot of decorations that creates a different experience form the usual restaurant.

The servers are really nice and helpful.

At first I was a bit skeptical about this place because the photos of dishes on Google maps were not convincing me. But then I decided to order the insalata and the vitello alla parmegiana.

The insalata was amazing, very simple plate but in taste it was excellent. And the parmegiana was also nice, well seasoned and the right amount of cheese.

The environment is a bit noisy but I guess it depends on when you go. Definitely would come back in the summer, eating at the patio must be good.“

The spot is cozy and we got seated in a quiet corner nice touch. I kicked off with my usual gin and tonic and the place was busy good vibes people enjoying their Italian eats. We split a thin-crust pizza I ordered the meatiest one can’t recall the name. It was delicious great crust quality toppings and fresh. Prices were decent and it felt like a healthier style pizza thin fire-baked and topped with quality cheese. The waitress was super attentive checked in a few times. Cozy atmosphere dim lighting and definitely a place I’ll hit up again.“

“So the name sounds like a motto for another chain but the crust at this chain didn’t turn to cardboard like the other. I was quite impressed that they had plant-based pepperoni, and gave it a try. Obviously it wasn’t as juicy as standard pepperoni, but it was devoid of the weird taste that I have experienced with greasy pepperoni as of late. Overall, the pizza was quite nice, and the crust wasn’t the kind that turned cardboard when it got colder. It’s a better deal, and fresher, just to order a full pie than the one slice, it’s been sitting there for a while, combo deal.“

“Reading some of the reviews, I'm surprised. As I've grown up eating gondola I've found the quality of pizza has been inconsistent from location to location. Only this Pembina location seems to be what I remember eating as a kid consistently.

I've gone quite a few times this past year and the staff has been great, even offering me upsized items when something else wasn't available. There's been a few hiccups, but overall I'm happy and will be returning more often.“

Very arrogant when we place the order.Visited the store today to get pizza and all the toppings on the pizza were added to the pizza without wearing gloves.
