“I was hesitant to go here because I misread the font on their sign and I thought that the restaurant was called “birth soup”. But when I finally went to book it, I happily discovered my mistake. I can’t believe I waited so long to check this place out…
Our dinner service was phenomenal! Né de loup has very unique dishes with amazing flavours. We had the leek confit (get this, it was probably the most unique dish I’ve had in Manitoba), the beef tartare (this one wins for my favourite dish of the night), the red tuna (absolute perfection) and the rabbit gnocchi (one of the best gnocchis I’ve had in the city).
The small restaurant provides a more personal dinner experience and the chef timed the dishes perfectly (no rush, gave us time to chat, etc). Né de loup easily made it into my top 5 restaurants in the city!“

“I went yesterday, I ordered Margarita ,it was empty , a lot of crust with out nothing. I got a nice " sorry about that" . In addition was so cold that I have to have my jacket on. My wife ordered Cesar salad , but we didnt know that is made with red cabbage . we didnt touch it and nobody asked why we didnt eat it .“

“On March 15,2025 at 530pm We had dinner of Northern Pickerel dinner -excellent green salad, plenty of fresh grilled vegetables and two generous pieces of fish filet and sour cream for our baked potato! Very filling !!
The young lady who served us was very pleasant and promptly brought our food and other requests.
The manager also came and asked about the service and food. Great place to dine-“

“It’s rare for me to shout out service but Summer was fantastic this evening! We never felt rushed and she was never overbearing. She was so quick with getting us what we asked for & always checked in at the right moments, we had a perfect time this evening because of her. Highly recommend the Tirama-Tini!“

“Joe was a great waiter. My friend and I were so deep into conversation, while Joe knew when to approach our table and ask us if we needed anything. We didn’t have to waive at him to come to our table; and the food was delicious, on top of having had a nice hot weather while we sat in the patio and enjoyed our Iced Baileys Latte, Joe was very friendly and knowledgable of the menu as well.“

“Went to Harth last night. Food is great. Experience not so much. Sat in the lounge and the tables are so close together it's a bit awkward. The waiter was attending to the table next to us and literally had his butt in my face which is not lovely. Pretty loud in the restaurant too, definitely not a chill vibe. Server was ok but poor lady had tables all over lounge and restaurant it made no sense. She was so swamped someone else had to bring us water and take our drink orders. Meanwhile table on either side of us both had totally different servers. Might make more sense to give servers sections to make their life easier and allow them to be attentive to their tables all at once.“
