Friendly local venue with great food and live music

Its where “ Cheers” meets “ The Sopranos” (in their old age). Where Africa, specifically Eritrea and Ethiopia gather to cheer for their favourite soccer teams and where local music, art, comedy and poetry have a stage.
To say it is a gathering place does not fully appreciate the warmth and welcome you feel, regardless where you come from.

I was visiting my hometown of Winnipeg recently, and stayed at a B&B in the West End, one block from X-Cues. I popped in for my morning coffee several times, and discovered a wonderful billiard hall, arcade, pub, cafe, and restaurant all wrapped up into one. The staff were extremely friendly, and their espresso and americanos were outstanding. I met and spoke with the owner Sal a few times, very friendly guy! Thanks for the great experience and awesome customer service!
