“We have been to Southdale Diner quite a few times and it’s great! Friendly, attentive staff and home style food always served hot. They have a reasonable breakfast special Mon-Fri before 1030am.

“What a pleasure it is for me to recommend Edgewood Cafe to the residents of Edgewood Estates. I have sampled the cream of broccoli soup which was awesome and served piping hot. On another occasion I tried the cream of mushroom soup which was a disappointment. There were precious few mushroom pieces in the soup. As well, the broth was not creamy, perhaps needing more corn starch or flour to thicken it. The Classic Burger, served with a slice of cheddar cheese, is ever so delicious. Another evening I tried the Salisbury Steak which was prepared to my liking with sautéed onions and house gravy as well as a salad (in my case, a Caesar salad) and French fries. I have also tried the Spaghetti and Meatballs tossed in a rich tomato sauce. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. Prices, in my humble opinion, are reasonable considering the generous portions. I encourage all residents of Edgewood Estates to visit and support this little gem in our midst!!!“

“We were last customers of the day. I have ordered delivery in past but this time i decided to go in person. The whole premises was very clean. Staff was very polite. Chicken was perfect as usual. However this time i ordered small pizza delux. What a surprise. Tasted great but was visually appealing. I will order pizza again.“

“Had a fabulous dinner at Grant Park Applebee’s yesterday. Our server Chloe was wonderful, and the food was fantastic! I had the feature O M Cheeseburger and it was so good! Also enjoyed the brownie bite for dessert, which was the perfect size after the rich cheesy burger! Never disappointed with a meal there.“

“I had a great visit last night. We at inside the restaurant, and we're there after 5pm. The restaurant was busy but very clean. All tables were clean and we we could sit right away. Waitress was friendly and attentive even though she was dealing with another larger table. Our food came quickly despite the large table and multiple to go orders ahead of us. Our food was delicious! I think it was the best chicken I have ever had at chicken chef to date. Great job and thank you for the wonderful meal.“
