Sal’s on Lombard is a total hidden gem in the Exchange District. My family loves to come here and the food never disappoints! The restaurant is located in a beautiful heritage building that creates a unique, pleasant atmosphere! The service is always excellent, especially when Bob is working! Definitely recommend to visitors and locals alike.
I believe this is one of the last true sal's we have left in the city. It may lack some of the classic Salisbury House decor. But the amazing service and food is what really brings you back.The staff are all very kind, extremely quick to take your order and check on how your doing.The food (especially the breakfast) was perfect. Eggs were cooked perfectly, and it was fairly quick getting to us.Would highly recommend going here if you want to experience the classic sal's experience.
