Way overpriced to begin with. $10 for a glass of draft. The food was not good at all. Very small portions. They do not ask you how you would like the steak. It is served very rare. Overall, the food was very bland. $600 for three people I would not recommend it.

The Velvet Glove restaurant offers a pleasant and very upscale atmosphere with excellent service. Reservations may require clarification, and it is highly recommended to check the restaurant's hours before visiting. While breakfast options have been considered underwhelming, the special meal options are excellent. The High Tea and Afternoon Tea experiences have received positive feedback and are first class, with delicious and excellent food, a huge selection of wonderful Canadian made teas, and lovely attention to detail in the decor for themed events. The chef has also gone out of their way to accommodate dietary needs, preparing special and custom menus for guests with celiac disease or gluten and dairy intolerance. The overall experience is really fun and it is highly recommended, especially for themed events like the Queen of Hearts or Grinch themes.
