Restaurant was busy, but cleanliness was not up to par for where it should have been. Kids chicken fingers were so dried out they couldn't even eat them. Server was friendly and did a good job keeping our table stocked on drinks.
The first time we tried and we were very disappointed. We went for dinner and the food quality was not the greatest. Price was OK. Service was exceptional. We went a second time to give it another chance for lunch. Food was amazing! Maybe it was an off day when we went the first time. I am glad I went a second time. Recommend the food, price was decent and the service is always amazing.

This is the go-to breakfast diner. You get what you pay for and the get is good. If you're in the mood for a full breakfast and like onions I suggest getting the shredded hashbrowns with fried onions and asking for the hashbrowns crispy. Can't go wrong with a meal at this Sals location or any other in Winnipeg.
