“My sister and I enjoyed a pub-style meal after our Thermea Spa experience. My burger was juicy and extra large, with fries on the side. She had the delicious steak sandwich. We were not expecting a warmed ciabatta bread while we waited for our food. Service was excellent! Love the atmosphere here. I would highly recommend the McGilvary location.“
“We had an excellent first experience at Leopold's! We dropped in for a late night Dinner as we happened to be driving thru Bridgwater. Loved the Cream of Mushroom Soup, and a Bowl is a meal by itself its so huge with plenty of mushrooms! The Beef Dip was also delicious and both were complemented with a refreshing Blueberry Beer! Our Hostess Jess was also very attentive. We will definitely be back for a future visit to this or your other location.“
“Stopped in for a late night bite after a concert down the road.The service was awesome, very friendly young woman the bartender on was also very nice.I tried the chicken sandwich with a salad and a cocktail.All of which I was quite surprised by the quality.I find these days the difference between fast food and sit down restaurants are very small.But I would definitely say this place goes above the industry standard for quality.I eat a lot on the road for work and I've spent most of my life running restaurants so I try to keep a running list of places to go again.. most often i wouldn't go out of my way to return, but i definitely will be back next time I'm in town.Its not often I actually think about maybe going back to the same place in the same trip.I should have gone back again tonight but such is life.Next time“
“Fionn's is a great place to go to with friends. For us, a real plus is their vegetarian/vegan menu and their draught beer selection. Our non-vegan friends have a dependably good menu to choose from. This visit was a little different and scored lower. We made reservations for 6 pm and didn't find out until we got there that the whole restaurant had been reserved for a private event starting at 7. We were a bit rushed as a result, although our server was very apologetic.“
“Really cool place. Went there with friends and my kiddo and we all loved it. Food was very good. My friend is a vegan and she has a ton of options for herself not just one or two dishes. Kiddo loved looking at all of the stuff displayed in there. Had the shrimp tacos, Mac and cheese. Mango mimosa. All very good.“

“I am a regular at Times and Bluenote, it is always amazing. One of the best things has always been that it is a place to DANCE and show appreciation to the band playing hard for us. All of the regulars make space and make room. Love this place. Recently, the demographic has seen some younger folks finally finding out about this amazing gem for live music…the problem, they are taking over the dance floor and making it into a STANDfloor. I was there for Halloween and the band, amazing as always, staff, out of this world. Sadly, no matter where I am attempted to find a small square to dance, a younger, often pretty drunk person decided that the exact space I occupied needed to be usurped. I finally decided to hold my ground. Folks, come and love this amazing place, but please if are not dancing, stay off the DANCE floor. Or…get the heck on there, dance and keep the vibe high! Please stop stomping on folks. There is room for everyone.“
“All the food was absolutely amazing. The prime rib cooked to perfection, and the horseradish is crazy strong. The meat was to rave about and worth the trip, but I had the grilled veggies and was pleasantly surprised. There was a large variety, and each type was so flavorful and cooked to perfection! It made the meal so complete, compared to other places where they are often just ok, or worse. Our server was also perfect in attention, friendliness, and efficiency.“

“I’ve been here a couple of times but never had the chance to give a review since I end up too busy to eat my food. It taste great especially the pork and shrimp tacos. I also love the cauliflower bites and the different flavours of chicken wings. It’s a great place to chill. With taco Tuesday nights and karaoke night.There’s a billiard table, darts and a slot machine too just in case you want to know. I don’t drink but from what I see they offer different kinds of liquor.I highly recommend the place, I guarantee you that the tacos is one of the best in town or maybe the best in town.“

“Food was really taste wise but the portion of fries was inconsistent. I got a poutine and my wife got regular fries. My poutine was about 1/3 the amount of fries as the regular fries. If you’re going to charge an additional $5.50 to upgrade to a poutine then the portion should be relatively similar and not a difference of 2/3.Service was ok. Our server forgot to punch in our starter so we never got it.Atmosphere was relaxing. Great music and it was loud enough to hear over other patrons talking but too loud as to where you were yelling at your own table.“
“This place Rocks. Called one time (put on a Scottish accent) which I’m pretty good at, and took whom I’d later know as Jo for a ride.Asked if they had Karaoke that night, she said yes. I proceeded to ask “how many songs would they let me sing”? She replied as many as you want but I sensed she was getting testy. (I have that charm on women). So right then and there she says “okay Cliff, are ya coming down or not”! (Dam call display). We introduced ourselves when we got there, and she is the reason we go back!! Totally recommend this bar! “Great spot in the Village to catch live music. Laid back, friendly atmosphere. Good service at the bar with good prices for draft beer. Did not have any food, so can't speak on that. In the back room you can escape some of the noise and play some shuffle board, or sit at a table and shoot the breeze while watching a game. There's a little VLT area too, if you're looking for that. But it's a real good spot.“

“Hy’s Vancouver is always dependable. Our waiter was a very pleasant, well-spoken, and well-trained fellow named Christophe. He prepared us a round of Caesar salads table side and his wine service was impeccable. My NY strip was perfect and my son enjoyed his dry-aged steak very much (gotta try it at least once). This type of experience is the norm at Hy’s Vancouver, not the exception.“

“Stopped in with my daughter for a meal before a Jet’s game. Erin, our server, greeted us and had us pick a seat (my daughter picked her favourite table under the picture of the cow on the wall). The food was fantastic!! Burgers, fries and onion rings ?Erin made sure our experience was great and it was!!! If you’re downtown and looking for a spot to have a cold drink and an awesome meal, I highly recommend stopping in at the Tipsy Cow!!!“
“Some of the most legit gumbo you'll ever have in your life. It's a quirky spot, in a good way. Clearly the owner is friends with the regulars, but this is more a pro than a con. It is welcoming, and a great place for a conversation. There's something wonderfully casual about the place. You won't be fussed over, but it's weirdly accommodating to both privacy and extroverted interaction.“
“I've been here quite a few times and I really enjoy it. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly and accommodating. The only thing I was a bit unimpressed with was the fries, they were well seasoned and the dill dip is amazing as always, but the fries weren't quite on par with what I'm used to from them, not sure if they changed them or not but they seemed almost undercooked and had a different texture then I'm used to. I'll definitely try them again another time because they're usually a 10 out of 10 so maybe just an off night for them. Overall everything else was great and I definitely recommend!“

“We just had a reservation for my Daughters Birthday Celebration, all her guests were very happy with the food and service. We had the room that can accommodate 14 people and had the private dining room for at least 3 hours. Would definitely recommend it!“
