“We Skip’d the Cheeseburger, Club Sandwich and Wings… all the food was exceptional. The offspring loved the wings, didn’t expect there to be so many, great flavour and perfectly baked. Club was super tasty but was too much for dinner so that lunch tomorrow and the Cheeseburger with gluten-free bun is the best GF burger in town. The bun tastes like bread not styrofoam! Fries need to be warmed in the air fryer to rekindle the crisp due to distance from the restaurant, but we are prepared for that when ordering.

Dietary restrictions: The GF bun on the burgers is better than a regular wheaty gluten filled bun. Double down order two burgers with the GF bun you won’t regret it tomorrow!“

“First time here for me. It was ok but I was expecting it to be better. The food was ok but somewhat bland. The fries were cold. They were out of my favourite beer and drinks are pricey. The restaurant itself is cool. Lots of wall decorations and a Juke box in the lounge. Our waitress wasn't very attentive, even though it wasn't busy. I might try again and have something different. I really wanted to like this place.“

“We celebrated our Gender reveal for our 4th and final baby at Confusion Corner last week. Kevin was so great at responding so quickly to all inquiries and was always so accommodating. The event went so smoothly. The servers were wonderful and attentive and the food was delicious. Will definitely host another event here. Thank you Kevin and staff!“

“I am a regular at Times and Bluenote, it is always amazing. One of the best things has always been that it is a place to DANCE and show appreciation to the band playing hard for us. All of the regulars make space and make room. Love this place. Recently, the demographic has seen some younger folks finally finding out about this amazing gem for live music…the problem, they are taking over the dance floor and making it into a STANDfloor. I was there for Halloween and the band, amazing as always, staff, out of this world. Sadly, no matter where I am attempted to find a small square to dance, a younger, often pretty drunk person decided that the exact space I occupied needed to be usurped. I finally decided to hold my ground. Folks, come and love this amazing place, but please if are not dancing, stay off the DANCE floor. Or…get the heck on there, dance and keep the vibe high! Please stop stomping on folks. There is room for everyone.“

“We met a friend there for drinks and food. The staff was friendly and was on top of everything. The place is clean and atmosphere fun. They had karaoke night and it was fun to listen to everyone get up and sing.
They have 2 vlts and we actually broke even on them.
The food was really good. Only issue is parking but otherwise we definitely recommend checking them out.“

“Fun bad, Good live bands they sound great, fun atmosphere and good service, honestly only problem with how popular this place is they need a bigger bar and larger building, place was fully to capacity and they had to stop people at the door. And with this many people need faster drinks.“

“I had never heard of this place until I was asked if i wanted to to a blues show (3 acts). Thank goodness I said yes.

It was the neatest atmosphere with reclinersstuffed rockers, different sizes of couche, high tops and regular lo tables. I believe you have to reserve which seat you want but I'm not sure on that.

The classy cocktails are about $17 each but worth it. Except for the Negroni which I discovered is not for me. But where else can you get beautifully presented and delicious amaretto sours.

Beer and I believe regular shots were reasonably priced.

I didn't try the food but my friend had the steak sandwich and she said it was good.

Drinks during Happy Hour are very reasonably priced and they typically have many local options on tap. Bar-goers can enjoy Karaoke (depending on the evening), Shuffleboard, and Billiards, as well as themed nights. Great Spot along Osborne and River.“

“This place Rocks. Called one time (put on a Scottish accent) which I’m pretty good at, and took whom I’d later know as Jo for a ride.Asked if they had Karaoke that night, she said yes. I proceeded to ask “how many songs would they let me sing”? She replied as many as you want but I sensed she was getting testy. (I have that charm on women). So right then and there she says “okay Cliff, are ya coming down or not”! (Dam call display). We introduced ourselves when we got there, and she is the reason we go back!! Totally recommend this bar! “So this chop location is just like I remember it from many years ago excellent! When I stay in Winnipeg for business, I often will stay at the Holiday Inn Polo Park. This is 800 m walking distance from the hotel so if I’m gonna have some cocktails, it’s an easy walk. This evening I sat at the bar, had an excellent meal and a couple of drinks as well. I definitely enjoyed one of their feature meals. It was a sirloin top with wild mushrooms, and. Truffle mashed potatoes. Great side of vegetables as well. I had an old-fashioned, Stella and topped the night off with a whiskey sour. The bar is well equipped, and able to make pretty much any drink. I think you can ask them too.
If you’re staying at the Holiday Inn, it’s well worth the walk guys.“
