“Just when you think they can't raise their game any higher Hy's manages to find a way. We attended the Calgary locations 10th Anniversary Celebration on Sept 26th and it was spectacular. The event was flawlessly organized and orchestrated by the Hy's team, the food was next level even by Hy's standards and the service exceeded anything we have experienced anywhere in North America even in the finest hotels. Bryant Olender added a classic background with piano and vocal stylings that perfectly suited the atmosphere. It was certainly the best evening we have at Hy's over the last decade, and I don't think I'm overstating it to say it was a "Once in a Lifetime" experience. A huge thankyou to Barb and the entire Hy's team!“

“We went for our 30th anniversary, the food was wonderful! Our server, Evaristo blew us away with the best service! And gave us a lovely cheesecake to share! So glad we decided to go here for our special day!“

“We sat in the lounge, it was not super busy when we arrived. Service was good for what you would expect from this type of restaurant. It was still happy hour when we arrived and we ordered an appetizer (wild mushroom and goat cheese dip) which was great, no complaints.
The server had mentioned to the manger that it was our first visit to the restaurant and had brought out a little tuna on a wonton cracker, which from the others in the party was tasty, however I do not eat tuna, so I had passed on mine, it was a nice added touch you don't see at many other restaurants in the city.
Two of us ordered a steak, both medium rare. They came out on the well done side, no red or pink inside for one of them, very little on the other. They had offered to and we accepted to get new ones, and instead they remade the whole meal again, which was not needed and accepted. These ones were much more to the expectation of a medium rare that was requested, the manager advised that the new ones were more on the rare side that they do. Will keep that in mind for next visit to this place.“
