“The space is pretty spartan (definitely a work-in-progress) but don’t let that turn you away. The dinner was delicious, the price was reasonable, and the service was excellent. Special note: Sunday evenings, home roasted Eritrean coffee (roasted in the dining room!!) with ginger is served. AMAZING!“

“I had never had Ethiopian food before. We came in and asked for a recommendation. They gave us this great platter with a bunch of different little freshly made foods. We also got a plate of this awesome spongy sour bread to pick the food up with. It was SO GOOD! I think everyone should visit this restaurant. :)“

“First time ordering from here and let me tell ya the food is bussing! So good! They usually don't have half and half on the menu but they were willing to accommodate and give me a plate of half fried rice and half jollof rice! Really good service. The meat pie and puff puff are also great! I ate em before I could even remember to take a photo. It's my new favorite Nigerian restaurant as it has the best fried and jollof I've tasted so far from a restaurant. The suya is also great! Not too spicy. The only thing is the photos for the suya and the snail are misleading! The snail is more like mollusks lol ? but it's spiced really good and still satisfied my snail craving.“

“What a gem! This was the only spot we stopped on our way through Winnipeg and I do not regret it one bit!
The Food was excellent and priced accordingly not to mention the woman serving us was so friendly and accommodating when helping us with our choices. 10/10 would recommend habesha!
