I grew up in Oakbank and have many memories of the previous restaurant. As an adult, we visited a few months ago and we had a good experience. We dined in this evening for a late anniversary/birthday dinner and everything was delicious. The portions are generous. Everyone at the table was satisfied. Our server was friendly. We got the monster cheesecake to take home and its amazing! On both occasions, the owner stopped and talked to us at our table, and he could been seen doing the same for other guests. We will return to try more of the menu! Thank you!

Food should get 3 stars cuz out of a party of 10, 3 meals weren't as good as they should have been. The calamari was rubbery, the chicken fingers were hard, and the riblets were over cooked. I had the Peppercorn Burger which had cracked black peppercorns and mozzarella cheese. That burger was the best burger I've ever tasted tho. So I'm going to bump the food up to 4 stars.

Placed a large order to go; service was stellar, but the food fell short of my expectations. In particular, the ribeye. It’s was so thin, dry and overcooked. The appetizers were pretty cold yet I had to wait for the order and it took me only 10 minutes to get home. Still, very good service and they brought it out to my car when it was ready.

Great service from Natasha, and plenty of food on the plate. The clubhouse, chicken fingers, and pulled pork were all very good. It was our first time there and we'd all go back again

I may have to move to Oakbank, just for the sake of being closer to The Peppercorn Restaurant I haven’t been there since Dec and running so many errands today, I figured I deserved a break, and a rewarding lunch. Alex was my server today, friendly, congenial and downright best service I’ve ever had. She took good care of me and when I went to,pay, she already had my Expresso Chocolate Cheesecake all packed to go. Once home, I chopped off only a small chunk for a start and couldn’t eat any more. This is a 3 meal dessert, enough for 3 meals, wow. My appetizer arrived, hot and steamy. Dry breaded ribs. Seasoned with their special seasonings, , baked in the oven, and served up hot & tasty with lemon wedges. I make ribs at home, and they are the toughest ribs in the universe. This is why I go to The Peppercorn, they know what they are doing. Today I Ordered up the chicken finger lunch entree with soup. 5 large fingers, served up with honey dill sauce. Soup of the day was Mexican. OMG. Homemade right there, it comes steaming’ hot to my table. I inhaled it. Almost licked the bowl. I should have taken a bowl to go. I had it here in the fall and it was just as tasty, maybe even better. Hot, the way soup should be served. Why don’t other restaurants get it? You were meant to chase your passions Art on wall, not just decorative but supporting local artists……And it’s all for sale Flowers on each & every table, were REAL. No really, real. It’s winter, it’s -30F and this restaurant supports the local florist……..Stems & Roses for lovely floral arrangements on each & every table. And each table had a vase of a variety of alstmedia…? Carnations and a big fat beautiful rose. I almost fell over. My server Alex tells me that these roses from Oakbanks “Stems and Roses” stay beautiful for almost 2 weeks. That’s unheard of. The Peppercorn Restaurant is set in the middle, flanked by A Large banquet room in back, ready to cater your event, And a bar on the other side. They have it all. Plus some of the tastiest entrees in Manitoba. So, tell me, why don’t I see other Oakbank residents here? Is it too reasonably priced for you? You like to travel into Wpg. And pay a fortune for cardboard tasting food and bad service? Great! More room for my family! Owners Doug & Kristine are always in, available and hands on. Highly recommended, 10 of 10 stars. Going back next week.

The food is delish, the service is absolutely wonderful, but the New York style cheesecakes are to die for. I'll deffinately be back :)

I first heard about Peppercorn Restaurant when I stayed a night at the Mariaggi's Theme Suite Hotel. I was served dinner and Peppercorns mouth watering cheesecake.

An overall wonderful restaurant, top notch customer service. Highly recommend.

We booked the banquet hall for a business Christmas Supper. Easy to book and no extra fees. The evening was Amazing! The room was set up well with clean white tablecloths and gold napkin rolls. All the food was amazing and flavourful. Our waitress was super attentive and kept checking up on us every few minutes, yet wasn't intrusive. I really hope to keep coming back. If for nothing else...... Then for that EGGNOG CHEESECAKE!!! Thank you Peppercorn.

My husband and three friends had dinner there. Our meals were top notch, service excellent and atmosphere good. The menu is varied enough that anything, almost, is available from vegan to carnivorous, although not sure about gluten free. Delicious and spicy, but not overly so. Yummy😋
