We had breakfast here and really enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere. Prices were reasonable as well.
Alyssa was a friendly and attentive server. The drinks are pretty, the decor and design is beautiful.

We ate at the restaurant. Menu is limited in the winter, but still a nice experience.
Food and drinks: Best burger I have had in a long time! Very friendly server and relaxing environment!
Great place wonderful accommodations. The hot tub was great at -22.

We had a delightful two night stay in the studio room with two queen beds. The check-in process was smooth and the room was cozy and spacious simultaneously. We were able to use the hot tub and the twinkle lights set up made it so we could easily read our books into the evening light. We ate one dinner, one lunch, and one breakfast at the restaurant during our stay. Our dinner was delicious and we really enjoyed the autumn grilled cheese, with the peach flatbread to start. We tried a number of their cocktails and the campfire coffee was an excellent treat. For lunch we shared a number of appetizers/shareables and were not disappointed. The mushroom bruschetta was delicious! We also had the opportunity to eat delicious breakfast and we both had different egg benedict-neither of which disappointed. The spiced apple fog and banana bread from the cafe was a delicious treat and the perfect addition for a walk along the south shore trail. The food and location did not disappoint and we really enjoyed our time here. Special mention to Arman who went above and beyond at our breakfast service to help us celebrate birthday month. Looking forward to our next visit back!

Hotel and Restaurant Review:
We visited The Lakehouse for dinner and drinks last night and were quite disappointed with most of the food. As a vegetarian, the options weren't very appetizing, so I went with a salad. Unfortunately, there was almost no goat cheese in it, to the point that it was undetectable—why even bother including it? The lettuce pieces were too large, making the salad difficult to eat, and the dressing was far too acidic. It just wasn't worth it. The restaurant felt overpriced for what we received.
On the positive side, we did enjoy the spinach and artichoke dip, which was tasty, and the espresso martini was really good. Those were the highlights of our meal.
However, when we returned today for a late lunch, the experience didn’t improve. The restaurant was filled with flies, which made it uncomfortable to eat. It was honestly gross. It’s not difficult to set up fly traps or take preventative measures to keep them under control, so it felt like a big oversight on their part. When a restaurant doesn’t manage something as basic as flies, it really makes you question their attention to cleanliness in the kitchen... I had a quesadilla, which was bland and lacked filling. It's definitely not worth $17.
The hotel room was clean and nicely kept. However, they use down-filled pillows, which is a big issue for anyone with allergies like me. We had to make do with the couch pillows. Another downside was that no complimentary water bottles were provided, despite there being a mini bar. Also, if you have an upstairs neighbor, expect to hear every footstep from your room.
There was also an issue with the TV setup. The cable box wasn’t properly connected, and the TV wasn’t connected to the WiFi. If you want to stream shows or movies, be prepared to troubleshoot upon arrival or ask the staff for help. You’ll need an app or a device with HDMI support to stream from your phone, laptop, or tablet to the TV.
On a more positive note, the cafe next door is nice, and they offer some lovely clothing, blankets, towels, candles, and other items you can buy.
There was a communal hot tub available, which we didn’t use, but it’s a nice feature to have on the property.
Overall, the hotel itself was nice, but the restaurant experience left much to be desired, especially considering the price. The only saving graces were the spinach and artichoke dip and the espresso martini. The TV situation was also inconvenient, but the nearby cafe adds a pleasant touch to the stay.

Excellent service by Alyssa
We tried to eat at this restaurant yesterday around 5:00 pm, when we arrived at the restaurant they asked us if we had a reservation, we didn’t. The hostess said they were fully booked for the night and we are planning to close early tonight. We decided to stay in the coffee area, for the one hour that we were there the restaurant wasn’t full at all. As clients we feel they didn’t want our business. Very poor customer service experience.

Restaurant review (no knowledge on the inn). Food was good! Hung out on the patio often for coffee and ended up spending long enough there to order food too. Staff were friendly, social, and checked on us often. Food always satisfying. Patio is a great central location to relax, people watch, and enjoy the weather
