Camp Cantina Reviews
Food is very tasty, and good summer atmosphere. Potatoes had a very nice crunch & garlic aioli, roasted chicken had great balance with lemon & herbs nice and juicy. Manitoba ribeye, had a great crunch topped with salt, jus & chives. Cooked perfectly at medium rare. Price is at a premium. However the taste is certainly there, complex & balanced.
Enjoyed the outdoors on the patio, loved the focaccia with savoury-sweet butter, tomato salad, and roast chicken with lots of dill. Perfect for sharing food with someone or a group. The food was unique, cooked perfectly and we loved the vibe of the place. The retail space is filled with unique food and fancy treats.
We recently took our family for an evening out to Camp Cantina. The meal was outstanding! Every dish was flavourful and beautifully presented. Our server was attentive and the atmosphere was fun. It’s hands down one of our favourite places at the lake! Highly recommend!

Camp Cantina is a local favorite in Clear Lake, known for its amazing pecan tarts and friendly atmosphere. The restaurant offers custom wine pairings that are budget-friendly, perfect for group events like bachelorettes. Their house roast beef sandwich with chips is a must-try, though the pecan tart could be improved. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality and consistency of the food make it worth the cost. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or planning a special event, Camp Cantina is a must-visit spot in Clear Lake.
The restaurant has received positive reviews from recent customers. One customer praised the pre-made sandwiches and pesto pasta salad, which were quick and delicious, especially for their hungry toddlers. Another customer recommended trying the Pork Belly and charred Broccolini, describing the food as "so good" and their server, Freya, as making the night. A third customer had a wonderful supper on the outdoor deck, enjoying a four-course meal that included tomato toast, Vietnamese chilled shrimp, "cantina fries," and pork belly, all of which were amazing.
