July 3/25 to order was SOOOOOO slow, then pick up my order they forgot a coke, told them they were grumpy, check my order and they FORGOT my sweet potato fries after I said it twice, and they repeated back to me TWICE. And I still never got. Paid for and didn’t receive them. Clearly they do not look at their order sheets even after you repeat it to them that your missing parts of your order. They need to do better

I have always loved a&w as a reliable better than average burger joint. We stopped for supper on Saturday evening and ordered in store. Bathrooms were clean, rootbeer was cold. my wife and son had meals that they did not complain about. Mine however was subpar at best. The onion rings were cold and the batter was soggy and falling off. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was like a giant chunk of chewey bun. The chicken did not stand out from the bun at all, over cooked, thin, over breaded and under sauced. I have never had a bad thing to say about a&w food but this meal was a disaster.

We have been travelling from BC to Ontario having breakfast almost every day at an A&W. this was the first one that refused to substitute toast for pancakes. Staff not pleasant - seems like she didn’t want to be here. Cook did make it more than right which I appreciate but they would have made more if they had just given us what we asked for in the first place.

Ordered Dry toast came with butter Oreded hot chocolate. Tasted like white warm milk Eggs over easy were over cooked Mens toilet was plugged with paper towel. Operator said oh ya maybe a plumber would come Worst A&W breakfast experience we have ever had !!!

For a number of years we have always stopped at the Portage la Prairie A&W when passing through because they were one of the few remaining A&W’s that still made a teen burger that tasted like a teen burger. Yesterday went there. Not busy at all. I believe there may be new owners since the last time we were there. Staff were not very friendly, helpful or receptive!! Food was so-so. The staff looked as if they really couldn’t have cared less. Disappointed as we will not be returning.

I had a wonderful experience at a&w, where the staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, ensuring my order was prepared quickly and accurately. The restaurant was clean and well-organized, and the ingredients were fresh and flavorful, making for a delicious meal. I highly recommend this location for its excellent customer service and consistently great food.
