The mexi tots were amazing. Worth the price. Waitress was wonderful. My only regret was: I feel like I didn't tip enough. After I left I wished I tipped more. Amazing time. Will definitely go back.”

“We stopped in on our way out to Brandon for an event. We decided to do takeout- very reasonably priced and great service - was a bit disappointed they didn’t have the mash bowls as they looked delicious.
The big Mary chicken combo we got was very good. Chicken was hot and juicy - fries were good. Only wish they gave more napkins and salt but otherwise I recommend stopping in. We will be back the next time we are in Portage”

“Small town, family atmosphere. The entrance was welcoming with beautiful plants at the end of July. The staff were excellent. Very attentive and really engaging. Very inexpensive menu!

We were traveling and wanted some local favs and this menu was HUGE and seemed to have them all.

We tried food we hadn’t before like the pirogies and the poutine. The breakfast food we ordered - the Benedict was excellent.

The problem with the big menu is that we wanted to order several things but that wasn’t an option. 😊

“Been going to May Mei Chen's for probably ten years now and it never disappoints, stopped in again this past Tuesday around lunch and the place was already busy with regulars. The sweet and sour chicken is still the one I order every single time, crispy on the outside and never greasy like some other places in town. Staff always remember my usual order which honestly makes the drive from the other side of Portage worth it. Parking behind the building can fill up fast at noon but it's a small price to pay for food this consistently good.”
