“If you are looking for Chinese food in Portage La Prairie, this is an excellent choice. Locals recommended this restaurant to me, and it did not disappoint. Food is tasty, well prepared and reasonably priced. I have enjoyed both the take out and eat in options at this restaurant. The ambience is very retro. The restaurant itself is authenticate back to its roots. The Memories of Portage Facebook has pictures of Dick’s back in the 60’s (courtesy of Charlie Brennan) and the restaurant is almost unchanged. Family owned and staffed, there is a pride in this restaurant that makes for an excellent experience. Highly recommend.“

“I usually do take out from this family run business and I’m never disappointed. The chicken balls are huge and delicate, sesame chicken is wonderful, and chicken fried rice has lots of chicken. Those are only few of many excellent dishes offered here. My wife loves it and so do I. Sincerely recommended!“
“Literally the most amazing place I have found since coming to Canada 2 years ago, not only is their food AMAZING, especially the handmade egg rolls; and the staff is very sweet and friendly; but I also had my service dog with me and not only did they accommodate him to give him room and make him comfortable (he's a giant breed), but the cook came out and asked if he could make my service dog his own dish! (Which he absolutely did). I have never seen so much respect for service animals ♥️♥️ HIGHLY recommended!!!Dietary restrictions: They are very careful about my severe mushroom allergy which is a huge thing for me!“
