the buffet was not what I expected. if I knew the buffet was over at 8. we would of not ordered it. my daughter ordered breakfast and the bacon looked old and was cold. the manager/supervisor never came over after we complained. we were also told the wrong price for the buffet for kids. all kids under 7. kids meals were 7.99 but I was told the buffet was cheaper it wasnt it was 10.50. would have got kids meals.
Loved their Take-out Turkey dinner at Christmas!!

Aaltos in Portage la Prairie may be the best of Canada Inns restaurants. The food was great and the restaurant is always clean and quiet. The Sunday brunch was fabulous. The staff were friendly, very professional, attentive, efficient, courteous, and great. The chef did a wonderful job with allergies and made an eggs Benedict without ham. The waitresses were fast and friendly, quick to deliver food and keep cups filled with fresh, hot coffee. There is a private room for large groups that can accommodate around 35 people, and a back private room for 20+ employees. Everyone enjoyed their lunch and meal. The staff went above and beyond to attend a table of 10 with 4 little kids.
