Original Georges Burgers & Subs

in my own opinion i was unsatisfied with the burger i had, couldn't tell there was even a beef patty in my fatboy.

awesome new place in town, wait may be a little long during lunch rush but in my opinion it’s totally worth

Fries: portions are huge and delicious. Fat boy burger and George's burger are really big and satisfying too! Great buns. Fast friendly service, usually order takeout or delivery.

What happened here? They opened about 2 years ago in Steinbach and churned out good quality and portions of the Winnipeg George’s menu. Nothing exceptional, but generally good in particular their fries, milkshakes and gyro. Two visits in two weeks now have convinced me to place them on my avoid list. The milkshakes both times had a different and not all together pleasant flavour. The fries were still good, but to say there was little meat on a gyro is being kind, and what was there appeared to be from a freezer box. Likewise the other items - chicken pita and a cheese burger. Not as good as they had been and off enough to warrant avoiding them. They outlasted the Freshii that preceded them in this location, but I won’t be back. There are a few better places to buy food here.

FINALLY!!! The George’s Express we all know and love is back in business! After a recent visit to the Regent George’s, we learned the Steinbach location is now under new ownership. We had to see for ourself. We are happy to report it’s true! The freshness, quality, and good sized portions have returned. We met the owner. He is a very nice man who wants his business to be successful. He promises to keep standards as they should be, very high. We will continue to support him! We want George’s to stay in Steinbach!

Used to have good food. Sadly it is now quite bad. Fruesold,reheated and burnt to a crisp. Grease. Patty was thin and black. Too bad as the other George's are very good.

This was my first time at George’s and was not impressed. The patty was not much thicker than a Mac Donald’s patty. In my opinion no flavour at all. The bun was soft that’s about it. I had the cheese burger and was very disappointed. Will not be returning in future and would not recommend to anyone that knows was a decent burger tastes like.

Meat on my burger was burnt . I felt the buns are way too big for the size of patty .buns need to be toasted .my fries were way too brown and over cooked I suspect the fry oil they are using is old . I liked the chocolate shake . I like to think i know a little about hamburgers considering i owned 3 of the largest burger franchises in the world !
