Derica's is my go-to stop every visit to Winnipeg. I build it into my schedule...the food and service is excellent, parking is easy and free and I can enjoy an excellent vibe free from the chaos in the city.
It’s where I go when I’m in Richer and want a good home-cooked breakfast! 😀
My husband had the Jalapeño popper burger and I had the Bacon Cheese Dog! The burger smelt so good I’m going to have to try it next time and my hot dog was delicious too. Ordered the small fry and it was a big portion. Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu!

Derica’s Restaurant is a must-visit spot with amazing staff and friendly service. The food is top-notch, especially the toco salad and pizza. The Cowboy Burger, Chicken Noodle Soup, and Coffee Special are highly recommended. The burger is fresh and juicy, the soup is tasty, and the coffee is aromatic. The Whistle dog, wings, whiskey burger, fries, and French onion soup are all very good. The restaurant is absolutely spotless and very sanitary, with excellent prices — kids can enjoy a full meal for just $8. Breakfasts are entirely homemade, with huge portions for only $16, more like a hearty lunch than a breakfast. Coffee is constantly refilled without even asking. Conveniently located right next to Husky and Esso, it’s perfect for travelers and families. Derek provides outstanding catering service, with hot, fresh, and delicious food at fair prices. The pizza is surprisingly good, and the staff offers great suggestions. A definite go-to place in the area.
