Lagimodière Restaurant offers very good, delicious food with generous portions and extremely good quality. The food is superb, reminding some of a home cooked style meal. Popular choices include the Hudson Bay Omelet, Frontiersman, 8oz steak dinner, pickerel, and steak, all cooked perfectly. The restaurant is known for giving customers their money’s worth with fair portions and no skimping. Located right on the trans canada hwy, it has lots of parking for big rigs, and the bar side is open late at night. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only downside noted is the very rough parking lot, which requires driving very slow on approach. Despite this, the restaurant is a hidden gem in south eastern Manitoba, and many recommend never driving past without stopping. Prices are absolutely decent, making it an awesome place for food.
