Booked this because we couldn’t get anything else after skiing. Had to go into the bar to get the keys, was shown to our room which was not cleaned. Was put in a double bed room that was freezing while it was cleaned, which basically was making the bed and taking out the garbage. I’m fairly certain the sheets were not changed. I had the pleasure staying in Asessippi Inn with my friends. It was our first time visiting Russell, and a huge thanks to Heather for making us feel right at home. had an absolute good time and enjoyed our stay. will definitely be back with more friends!

We didn’t book as just passing through, just wandered in and asked for a room and the staff were very friendly and nice. Very large room. A little dated, but everything was very clean and tidy. It is above a bar, but there was no noise even though it was Friday night (the host did warn us there might be a bit of noise). It was late April so off season too. Good value for money.
