Old No 12 Cafe & Lounge

Ordered the special of the day, cheeseburger platter. Comes with choice of soup or salad. I opted for salad and was not disappointed. Then the platter comes out with a big cheeseburger, fries and coleslaw. Burger was wonderful and the fries were tasty. The coleslaw wasn’t my preference but still had some salad left, so no complaints there. If you are in the area I would highly suggest stopping by for a bite to eat!

We are from Iowa and this place felt like a small town farming communities cafe. The food came out quickly and the choices were endless. We forgot to get a homemade piece of pie to go! Next time )

What a quaint old cafe with old fashioned charm! My friend and I had dinner here and the food was absolutely delicious, especially the coconut pie a la mode. The pies are homemade and they’re the most delicious pies we have ever had! Also love the old fashioned MTS telephone booth with the pay phone that works!!

such a lovely little spot! the staff were super welcoming and the food was delicious. i travelled from afar but the atmosphere made me feel right at home. will definitely return when i'm in the area again and try more of their huge menu!

I had liver! YUMMY! Best tasting I have ever had. And I think new waitress. She was friendly and reallly good. We always go there but I had to make a mention as liver is hard to cook to please. Thankyou again. My husband had roast beef was good also.

Always enjoy the food here and the pricing is reasonable. Service is usually excellent however, yesterday I waited half an hour for my order and the place wasn't busy at all.
Generally I will request my coffee once my meal is served but on this occasion I didn't because I saw the server brewing a fresh pot very wrong. The coffee had no sooner started brewing when she filled two large cups directly under the coffee drip basket. That spoils the blend resulting in very weak coffee in the pot. Generally, the coffee here is very good.
As always, my meal was perfect. Thank you!
