That Burrito Place / Wow Indian Food

Have only been here twice and it is quickly becoming my favourite spot in the area! The food has been spectacular and the service is fantastic! Harman made the experience wonderful with thoughtful suggestions and great service. We even got a dry ice waterfall! Top tier food, fresh ingredients and a fun atmosphere

Overall the food we’ve received has been delicious but the wait time is what’s killing it for me.
Buddy was working by himself at the start so it’s fair that it took a while for him to come take our order.
But over an hour and half before even one plate came out is a bit crazy. There were two tables ahead of us that didn’t get their food until 40/50 min after we got there.

Edited to add almost two hours and part of our order was forgotten. Opted to get it to go so we could get on with our day.

Maybe consider having two people working the opening shift?

They were very kind to give us a discount for the extended wait.

Went for a group dinner tonight. We all ordered traditional Indian dishes. Delicious food, very helpful service. Would definitely recommend- great restaurant!

Friendly, delicious, and care about allergens.

Came in on Thanksgiving because it was the only place open. We were the only ones there, but the staff were super welcoming and kind. Food took a while to arrive because it was made fresh to order, 100% worth the wait. Staff was also very sympathetic toward allergies, which is so rare with small establishments.

Very nice experience, the veg thali and mango lassi and normal lassi , they were both very tasty and taste was very much like back home just reminded us our own country cuisine. We enjoyed a lot .

Don't ever come here for That Burrito Place! It doesn't exist! All they have is Indian food, which, if that's what you're coming, it would probably be decent.

Ordered some parathas and specifically asked for mild and got spicy parathas. Time was told 20-25 minutes but roughly 40 minutes or more for a small order. Quiet disappointing experience 🙃

It was empty when I went in. The food was quite good and the service was good but was suprised to not see any mention at all of of a burrito. It's very misleading to have a name that people know as a burrito place and have no remnant of the previous establishment

From the moment we stepped in the resturaunt we were greeted by friendly helpful staff, the service continued to WOW the entire time we were there .The whole experience was great ,this was our first time to winkler and we were having a hard time deciding if we should eat here or the other indian resturaunt, we are so happy we chose this place . Ive been to indian resturaunts across Canada and this service was outstanding from the food which is very much fresh and full of flavor to the surprise kettle and water they brought over (if you know, you know, don't want to ruin the surprise for anyone else ) . I was absolutely blown away with the service and the food as well as the experience, this will be our go to resturaunt in the future when we come to winkler! Don't hesitate definitely give this resturaunt a try !
